Italian Media Report Man Utd Owned Alexis Sanchez Wants Inter Stay & Could Remain For €10-12M

Alexis Sanchez wishes to stay with Inter on a permanent basis according to a report from Italian media outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Chilean national team attacker is currently on loan at Inter from Manchester United and he has no intention of returning to the Premier League club.

He is well aware that Inter manager Antonio Conte likes him and would like to keep him around at the club. Sanchez could therefore ask Manchester United to let him leave on favourable terms, the report continues.

Sanchez’s wages pose an issue but Inter could spread them across a three year contract and by doing this they could benefit from the newly introduced Italian tax laws.

According to the report, his agent Fernando Felicevich is already at work and trying to find a solution that will please his client. Manchester United want €20 million for the former Barcelona player but the report goes on to add that the feeling is that a deal could be done for a fee in the region of €10-12 million.

Inter’s Asking Price For Radja Nainggolan Makes His Stay At Cagliari Beyond This Season Difficult

Inter’s asking price for Radja Nainggolan is a huge obstacle to him staying at Cagliari past the end of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The former Belgian national team midfielder would more than happily stay with the Rossoblu club and Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini dreams of being able to keep a hold of him.

However, even if Nainggolan were to significantly reduce his wages, Inter’s asking price makes a permanent move very difficult.

Inter do not want to sell Nainggolan and make a loss on him, even more so given the current situation in the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has hugely impacted money in football.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that it is currently too early to suggest Inter’s asking price is impossible for Cagliari to meet but the signs certainly are not positive.

Spanish Media Claim Inter Accept Barcelona’s €41M Valuation Of Junior Firpo As Part Of Lautaro Martin ez Deal

Inter have agreed with Barcelona’s €41 million valuation of Junior Firpo according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Barcelona would like to offer the Spanish full back to the Nerazzurri as part of a player plus cash deal for Lautaro Martinez, who they have been wanting to sign for a long time.

Inter were initially unwilling to agree with Barcelona’s valuation of Firpo but have since changed their mind after analysing what they could receive on the transfer market for Lautaro and realising that the valuation for Firpo is not that bad.

Inter are understood to want €70 million in cash on top of €41 million rated Firpo and it remains to be seen if the two clubs can come to an agreement over the transfer of Lautaro.

In another report from the same source, it is said that Lautaro will force a move to the Spanish powerhouses if he needs to do so.

Italian Media Details Why Inter’s Pursuit Of Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri Complicates Lautaro Martinez’ Move To Barcelona

Inter’s pursuit of Emerson Palmieri complicates Barcelona’s pursuit of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are working to try and sign former Roma man Emerson and if they succeed it will prevent Barcelona from offering Junior Firpo to the Nerazzurri as part of a deal for Lautaro, who they have been courting for a number of months now.

Barcelona hope that they may be able to convince Inter to take Arturo Vidal as part of a deal for the 22-year-old but Inter have no interest in acquiring the Chilean midfielder in this fashion and would rather do a separate deal for him instead.

The report goes on to add that Barcelona still need to raise adequate funds to make a move for Argentine national team forward Lautaro and they intend to raise these funds through the sales of several players.

Inter Want To Do A Double Deal With Chelsea For Emerson Palmieri & Olivier Giroud

Negotiations between Inter and Chelsea over Emerson Palmieri are proceeding quickly according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are keen to wrap up a deal for the Brazilian born naturalised Italian wing-back as soon as possible in order to complete their recruitment as far as the wing-back department is concerned, having also already signed Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid.

The report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Chelsea value 25-year-old Emerson at €30 million but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta would like to do a double deal for both Emerson and Olivier Giroud, who Inter manager Antonio Conte wants brought in to reinforce the attack.

Inter had tried to sign Giroud back in January but failed to do so and soon after Chelsea triggered an option to extend his contract. Despite this, Inter have never dropped their interest in the 2018 World Cup winner.

Inter Open To Letting Milan Skriniar Leave For €60M Amid Links To Man City & Man Utd

Inter will let Milan Skriniar leave the club provided they get a good enough offer for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Premier League duo Manchester United and Manchester City have both developed an interest in signing the Slovakian centre back and Inter could let him go if they receive an offer in excess of €60 million.

The report goes on to state that Skriniar himself is having doubts about staying with Inter due to his struggles when it comes to adapting to the three man defensive system which has been used this term.

It also adds that if it were between Skriniar and Lautaro Martinez, Inter manager Antonio Conte would opt to sacrifice the former Sampdoria man as it would be easier to find a replacement for him than it would be for Lautaro, who has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.

Inter Working On Extending Contract Of Barcelona Target Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona are growing further and further away from signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Blaugrana club have been courting the 22-year-old Argentine for a considerable amount of time but they are in a full blown financial crisis.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are working hard to convince Lautaro to stay with the club and are working on a contract renewal, which will come with an improved salary.

Inter cannot guarantee the €10 million a year that Barcelona have offered him but can guarantee him being one of the club’s top players.

Inter do not want to deprive themselves of their best players and they hope that the feeling is mutual with Lautaro. As things stand, the signs are good and the report concludes that his goal against Torino could represent a new beginning for him.

Hellas Verona Meet With Inter & Lazio Linked Marash Kumbulla For Contract Extension Talks

Hellas Verona are getting closer to agreeing a contract extension with top prospect Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired late last night.

The Gialloblu club have had a first meeting with Kumbulla to discuss a new contract and the meeting is understood to have went positively.

Hellas Verona are working to sign him to a contract extension as a precaution in the event that he does not leave the club until next Summer, when he would then just have one year left on his current deal which could impact how much they can get for him.

Kumbulla, who has one goal in 25 appearances this term, has been strongly linked to both Inter and Lazio among other clubs for a good few months now and the report goes on to add that even if he signs a contract renewal, him leaving the club cannot be ruled out.

Inter Coach Antonio Conte: “Very Happy, We Deserved The Win Over Torino”

Inter manager Antonio Conte has admitted that he is very happy following his side’s 3-1 triumph over Torino at San Siro last night, a result which has pushed Inter up to second place.

Inter fell behind after club captain and number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic dropped the ball at the feet of clinical Andrea Belotti and were unable to get back level by the time half time came around.

Inter scored three goals within the first 15 minutes of the second half to turn the match in their favour and they professionally saw the remainder of the match out.

“I am very happy, but I was sincerely happy even after Verona, even if we did concede a goal at the end. Today the negative moment took place after 20 minutes, before that Torino had never even passed the half-way line,” Conte explained in an interview with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV following the match.

“We could have got nervous and conceding could have destabilised us but instead the boys were good at continuing to do what we work for. It was a deserved win. We have deserved more from our recent games but it is useless to look back. We are already thinking about the next one.”

Next the former Italian national team boss spoke on Inter’s aims and ambitions for the remainder of the Serie A season, with six games left to play.

“We want to secure Champions League qualification many days before the end of the season. Having the gap we do over the likes of Napoli and Roma is no small feat.

“In the remaining six games, we must continue to grow and play this type of football. In my opinion, the remainder of the season can be good for next season. We can lay the foundations and also understand where we need to improve.

“This is my first year here, but I have found great availability and I am very happy.”

In conclusion he was asked if he is working on the small details and spoke on Handanovic’s uncharacteristic error.

“Yes, however, we have conceded a few too many goals lately, but we have the second best defence and have one of the best attacks.

“We score goals, we create many chances and we could have scored many more. On a defensive level we have paid for particular episodes, like with Handanovic,

“Samir is a Swiss watch, which is never wrong, and unfortunately he made this mistake. The attacking mentality we are working on is important and perhaps we expose ourselves to a few more counter-attacks.”
