MILAN – “It’s my best goal but we’re disappointed because we could have won.” This is what Mateo Kovacic had to say following the Nerazzurri’s 2-2 draw against Lazio. “We’re not happy, we made mistakes on their goals but then we did well to come back. We lacked a bit of bite and they made a better start to the match. It’s hard to win when you go two goals behind.

“We’re lacking consistency but we haven’t been working with the coach for very long and I’m sure we’ll improve. As for my position, I do what the coach asks me to, I always listen to what he tells me. I’m sure he’ll always know where best to play me.”
