TURIN – After scoring the goal that saw Inter claim a point at Juventus Stadium, Mauro Icardi revealed that he was pleased with the Nerazzurri’s second-half display but also slightly disappointed as they might even have have edged it.

When it was put to him that he scored a great goal, he said: “I had a bit of luck and it was a fine pass from Guaro. We fought back well to earn this point by showing character and we could even even have won it at the end.

“Osvaldo? That sort of thing happens in the heat of the moment but once you’re off the pitch it’s all forgotten about. It was my fault because I should have passed to him.

“How far can we go? We just have to keep battling and see where we end up come the end of the season.

“Transfer rumours? I keep saying I want to stay here. I’ve told the club and my agent that and there’s nothing more to add.”
