MILAN – Yuto Nagatomo and Japan’s run in the 2015 Asian Cup has come to an end at the quarter-final stage. Javier Aguirre’s side were beaten on a shootout after the match finished 1-1 after extra time (Mabkhout and Shibasaki the scorers).

Shinji Kagawa missed the decisive spot-kick. Nerazzurri defender Nagatomo featured for the full 120 minutes.
