After the rumors surfaced yesterday, today Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport confirms Inter’s interest in Roma’s Brazilian fullback Bruno Peres who is considered to be a viable option in case Inter fail to redeem Joao Cancelo.

Bruno Peres could be sold by Roma despite a positive season finale. According to Corriere: “The Brazilian’s agent was in Trigoria to speak with Monchi, and today he will meet with Piero Ausilio, Inter’s Sporting Director. Bruno Peres is appreciated by Luciano Spalletti, who worked with him last year with the Giallorossi.” In short, Bruno Peres appears to be much more than just a simple idea.

Inter play their last home game of the season on tonight against Sassuolo, a side who secured their place in next seasons Serie A last weekend. For the black and blue on the other hand, they are looking to secure a Champions League spot.

With just two games remaining, Inter must win both games as they are just two points under 4th place Lazio.

Eugenio Fascetti, intervistato da GazzaMercato, considera la stagione dell’Inter fallimentare se non riuscirà a tornare in Champions League augurandosi che Suning possa investire per ridurre il gap con le prime.

SERVONO RINFORZI – «Aspettiamo di vedere l’esito della stagione. Spalletti ha trovato una squadra difficile, i giocatori hanno poca qualità. Per fortuna è arrivato Rafinha che sembra averne da vendere. La squadra è migliorata, ma se dovessero mancare la qualificazione in Coppa dei Campioni sarebbe l’ennesima stagione fallimentare. Serve un attaccante da mettere vicino ad Icardi per supportarlo e renderlo maggiormente prolifico. Spero che la società sia disposta a spendere soldi alla ricerca anche di un terzino sinistro e un centrocampista dinamico, altrimenti il gap con le altre non si colmerà mai».

Prior to the usual appointment with journalists for the pre-match press conference at the Suning Training Center, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti answered questions sent from the fans via Facebook, in an interview with InterTV.

Spalletti began by expressing confidence in the team’s form stating that: “the team has trained in the right way; they showed how to approach the game in the right way. Everything that has been planned has been implemented, there has been improvements regarding Miranda and he will be evaluated before the match. For Gagliardini, we will have to wait for next week.

“Before wanting to win a game, we have to want to play in the right way. We have already lost to Sassuolo, so we must begin by putting a balance in the way we express ourselves. I have often done commercials for UEFA and in all these situations the word ‘Respect’ is used. I hear words that have nothing to do with respect regarding the race for the Champions League” the former Roma tactician underlined.

Spalletti continued by speaking about the special training session with the Inter Forever players: “I was pleased, trying to make sense in the way we speak and the fact that they were with us shows how we must behave in order to have a sense of belonging. They have made an important contribution from the point of view of quality; many of them still show their skills.”

In conclusion Spalletti was asked about the amazing support from the supporters throughout the season stating that: “If we are where we are it is thanks to the fans, San Siro is beautiful, when I go there I find it elegant even if it is empty, but when it is completely dressed in black and blue it is as if the stadium is wearing a tuxedo.”
