After missing out training in the earlier part of the week, Miranda was back in training with his teammates today ahead of Inter’s clash with Sassuolo this weekend Sky Sport report.

The Brazilian was forced to miss the 4-0 win over Udinese last weekend having pulled up during the warm up before the match. Medical tests conducted earlier in the week showed no serious damage to the veteran defender and revealed a minor hamstring injury. It is as yet unclear whether he will instantly reclaim his place in the starting berth for Saturday’s match.

Miranda has formed a formidable partnership with Milan Skriniar this term and helped the Nerazzurri toward 13 clean sheets when he has played.

Sky further report that the midfield trio of Borja Valero, Marcelo Brozovic and Rafinha could be used again when the Neroverdi travel to the San Siro on Saturday night for the penultimate game of the Serie A season due to the success it had during the game with Udinese.

Racing Club manager Eduardo Coudet has reiterated his belief that Lautaro Martinez is committed to the Argentine club amid the ongoing confusion of when he will depart the club for Inter.

“I feel that Lautaro has a great commitment towards the club and the team. It would be better for us for him to stay here and if I have to tell him something, I will tell him to stay with us,” Coudet told the media at his press conference after the 2-0 win – in which Martinez scored – over Arsenal de Sarandi.

Inter and Racing struck a deal over Martinez and while he was expected to join the Nerazzurri in the summer, Racing have requested that Martinez is allowed to remain with them on loan until the end of the calendar year.

The 20-year-old striker has scored 18 goals in 25 appearances for his boyhood club this season and is regarded as one of the top Argentine prospects.

La Lazio sembra aver deciso di puntare tutto sulla partita contro l’Inter, ultima giornata di Serie A. I biancocelesti proveranno a recuperare per quella gara Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto e Marco Parolo: questi gli aggiornamenti sui rispettivi infortuni, presumibilmente il solo Ştefan Radu sarà già in campo domenica a Crotone.

LE CONDIZIONI – A Lazio Style Radio ha parlato Fabio Rodia, medico sociale della Lazio. Questo l’aggiornamento principale riportato dal sito ufficiale del club biancoceleste: «Luis Alberto ha riportato una lesione di primo grado a carico dell’adduttore della coscia sinistra e la prognosi è di quindici-venti giorni: con lui abbiamo messo in atto dei trattamenti specifici già da lunedì stesso dopo aver stipulato una diagnosi presuntiva che non abbiamo comunicato in via definitiva per attendere la stabilizzazione del quadro clinico. Luis Alberto vuole provare a giocare l’ultima gara con l’Inter, ma i dati strumentali non sembrano favorevoli allo spagnolo, ma continueremo a monitorare il centrocampista».

GLI ALTRI – Di seguito gli aggiornamenti sugli altri infortunati: «Ştefan Radu è stato posto ad alcuni accertamenti strumentali e, a seguito dell’esito, abbiamo dato il via libera per il rientro in gruppo del difensore che, ora, è a disposizione del tecnico Simone Inzaghi. Anche Marco Parolo e Ciro Immobile sono stati sottoposti a esami strumentali e la loro situazione sta evolvendo bene, successivamente svolgeremo dei test definitivi e speriamo di poterli reintegrare in vista dell’ultima gara di campionato. Entrambe le procedura, comunque, stanno seguendo la tabella di marcia che avevamo stabilito inizialmente. Per i due atleti sono previsti dei protocolli di lavoro personalizzati che, in particolare, vengono seguiti quotidianamente, anche di domenica, poiché è necessario sfruttare tutti i giorni a disposizione».

Inter will meet with Domenico Berardi on Saturday, not to discuss a possible transfer, but simply as just opponents according to Tuttosport.

The 23-year-old winger has been linked with Inter for years and years but no move ever transpired due to the Italian’s loyalty to Sassuolo, where he has been since 2011. Sassuolo and Juventus agreed upon a co-ownership agreement in 2013 and he looked set for a future with the Bianconeri but upon the agreements being abolished, Sassuolo kept his rights.

The Turin based newspaper report that Inter no longer wish to pursue Berardi but are after a player with similar characteristics to his during the summer transfer window.

Berardi has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs in recent years due to his continued good performances for a lesser club in Sassuolo but this season however, he has managed just four goals across all competitions and two assists.

Milan have joined Inter and Napoli in the race to sign Matteo Politano according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

“Politano, who was very close to joining Napoli in January and also pursued by Inter, could take the place of Suso or Calhanoglu at Milan,” they detail.

Tuttosport further report that developments are expected in the coming days and state that it is going to take around €30 million for anyone to sign him from Sassuolo, where he has been since 2015 and has a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The winger, who can also play as a striker, has made 37 appearances for the MAPEI stadium outfit this season across all competitions, finding the net no less than 10 times and assisting a further five goals. He has really stepped up in the absence of former Inter target Domenico Berardi who had a real down year, scoring just four times over the course of the season.
