Inter have unveiled a new hospitality programme which they believe offers clients ‘a complete business and entertainment experience’.

The Nerazzurri presented the project to reporters, officially called ‘IN’, on site at the Villa Necchi Campiglio on Tuesday afternoon, claiming that it will ‘encompass all sections of hospitality’.

“Inter’s hospitality service now offers a complete business and entertainment experience that starts from arrival at the stadium and carries on before and beyond the final whistle”, a statement on the club’s website read.

“The services are designed to make the most of every moment of your stay at San Siro while also representing the values that have always distinguished our club.

“Whether it’s business clients who wish to welcome their guests in a memorable environment or clients who’d like to enjoy a unique experience together with the Nerazzurri colours, IN guests will find the features that have distinguished the club throughout history.

“Great attention is paid to the completely new hospitality experience in a welcoming and elegant environment which is also the best setting to see the emotions of the match from up close.

Chief Communications Officer Robert Faulkner believes the IN brand ‘clearly represents Inter and the inclusive sense that can be felt in our hospitality rooms’, while Chief Revenue Officer Michael Gandler describes it as a ‘better experience’ that ‘aims for the top’.

“San Siro has been renovated thanks to a large amount of investment,” he went on to say, “but we want to improve further in terms of quality and with the experience provided at the stadium before and after the match.”

Danilo D’Ambrosio has issued a rallying cry ahead of Inter’s final two games of the season and believes the Nerazzurri would deserve to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.

The Italian appeared at an event organised by main shirt sponsors Pirelli on Tuesday and gave a brief interview to Sky Sport before leaving, in which he urged his team-mates to repay the support Inter’s fans have provided throughout the campaign.

“We want to qualify for the Champions League and we’ve wanted to since the beginning of the season,” he said. “‘If we don’t make the Champions League’ is a phrase that we’ve never uttered.

“The fans? They’re an extra reason to make the top four.”

Luciano Spalletti’s side responded to the crushing Derby d’Italia defeat in the best possible way on Sunday when they dismantled Udinese to record a 4-0 victory, but D’Ambrosio was not surprised the team had been able to move on so quickly.

“You have to get over these things because football can give and take away in the same day. We reacted well, we’ve been heading in a clear direction for a long time now.

“We went through a difficult period where performances and points weren’t arriving but we managed to pick ourselves up, not least because of the work Spalletti has done.

“We hope we can secure what would be a deserved qualification to the Champions League.

“We’re giving everything to be worthy of this shirt and the coach is doing the same. He’s been telling us ever since the start of the season that we have to reach our objective: if the club made a few changes to the squad it’s because it needed some adjusting. Every team needs reinforcements.”

D’Ambrosio also offered his thoughts on Saturday’s upcoming match at home to Sassuolo, suggesting that Inter needed to avoid ‘presumption’ when facing the Neroverdi.

“We have some great attacking potential but the most important thing is not to concede.”

Speaking to the press following his sides 1-1 draw at home to Atalanta, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi took stock of the injury crisis threatening to disrupt the Biancocelesti season.

“Those who played expressed themselves very well, even Stefan de Vrij who came in with a little problem. Luis Alberto, Stefan Radu and Marco Parolo will try to recover in time for the match against Crotone, and Ciro Immobile is working to return against Inter. It is too early to say if he will make it or not, though. I hope that both De Vrij and Lucas Leiva will return for us next week as we know it will be a battle against Crotone.”

The draw against Atalanta saw Lazio’s lead over Inter reduced to two points, increasing the chance that the clash between the two sides on the final day of the season will effectively be a play off to qualify for the Champions League. First, however, Lazio must visit Crotone who are fighting to remain in Serie A whilst Inter will welcome Sassuolo to the San Siro.

Marco Barzaghi di Premium Sport aggiorna sulle prime ipotesi di formazione per Inter-Sassuolo, anticipo della penultima giornata di Serie A in programma alle ore 20.45. Andrea Ranocchia potrebbe essere preferito a João Miranda, stavolta però per scelta tecnica e non per necessità come domenica a Udine.

CONFERMA DIETRO – João Miranda non ha giocato Udinese-Inter a causa di un infortunio muscolare riportato nel riscaldamento, ma gli esami strumentali effettuati in mattinata hanno escluso particolari problemi (vedi articolo). Tuttavia, secondo Premium Sport, sabato contro il Sassuolo giocherà ancora Andrea Ranocchia, con Luciano Spalletti che terrà il brasiliano a riposo precauzionale per averlo al 100% contro la Lazio, nel caso in cui sia decisiva per l’Inter per ottenere la qualificazione in Champions League.

Con molta probabilità lunedì prossimo la Lega Serie A ufficializzerà il calendario dell’ultima giornata di campionato. Lazio-Inter, possibile scontro diretto per la Champions League (sarà tale in caso di successo dei nerazzurri sabato col Sassuolo o di mancata vittoria dei biancocelesti a Crotone), difficilmente sarà anticipato a sabato 19 maggio per volontà della società capitolina.

NO SECCO – La Lazio dice no a un possibile anticipo della partita contro l’Inter a sabato 19 maggio. Secondo “Radiosei” l’eventualità, resa tale dalla concomitanza domenica 20 maggio tra la finale degli Internazionali d’Italia di tennis al Foro Italico (ore 15) e l’ultima giornata di Serie A, difficilmente diventerà effettiva: questo perché i biancocelesti puntano a recuperare Ciro Immobile e Luis Alberto, quindi un giorno in più potrebbe fare la differenza.

Rafinha has urged his teammates to keep fighting toward the goal of qualifying for the Champions League next season through a post on social media.

“Keep fighting, We’re Close,” the Brazilian posted to his official Instagram page.

Inter’s 4-0 win over Udinese at the weekend coupled with Lazio’s 2-2 draw means Inter’s fate is firmly in their hands as they know two victories in the final two games will definitely secure them a place in European football’s top continental club competition for the first time in a number of years.
