With Danilo D’Ambrosio suspended for this weekend’s trip to Udine to take on Udinese, Luciano Spalletti will be forced in to making a change at left back.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that it is a battle between Dalbert and Davide Santon to start in Sunday lunchtime’s fixture with no clear leader in the battle as things stand. Santon made a cameo appearance in the Derby D’Italia last weekend but was heavily criticised for his poor marking that lead to two Juventus goals that saw Inter then lose 3-2. Dalbert on the other hand has not played since March 3 and finds himself increasingly on the fringes of Spalletti’s plans.

Midfielder Matias Vecino is also suspended for the game after his red card last weekend and the Milan based newspaper report that Borja Valero is likely to replace him in the starting eleven alongside Marcelo Brozovic in the midfield two in front of the defence.

Both Geoffrey Kondogbia and Yuto Nagatomo are to bid farewell to Inter in the summer transfer window according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Valencia have made it clear on more than one occasion that they are to take up their €25 million option to redeem the Frenchman. While the sale will not represent any huge capital gain for the Nerazzurri, it must be remembered that they will receive 25% of the fee received if Valencia are to sell him on in the future.

As for Nagatomo, Galatasaray have been more than impressed by his performances since his January loan arrival and are therefore seeking out a permanent move for the Japanese international. The 31-year-old had fallen out of favour at Inter and with Kwadwo Asamoah expected to come in, playing time will be drastically affected for the full back. Inter are expected to receieve a fee somewhere between the €4-5 million mark for him.

Despite Juventus’ advances toward him, Andriy Lunin has not been swayed and remains set on a transfer to Inter over the Bianconeri according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Ukrainian shot stopper was subject to a bid from Juventus at the weekend prior to the Derby D’Italia between the two sides, a bid understood to be higher than Inter’s offer.

The Milano based newspaper report that Lunin has his sights set on taking over from Samir Handanovic in between the sticks for Inter in the years to come. Before he can do that though, he is expected to be loaned out within Serie A, to Bologna specifically in order to help him acclimatise with the league and Italy itself.

Lunin has starred for Zorya Luhansk this term, keeping 10 clean sheets in 33 appearances across all competitions, including the Europa League. The 19-year-old also made his full international debut for Ukraine back in March.
