Inter defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Stefan de Vrij didn’t not take part in yesterday’s training match but should be fully fit by Monday, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the two Inter defenders didn’t take part in the 11 v 11 training game yesterday but did take part in squad training at points. On Monday they are expected to be fully fit. Veteran Diego Godin will require a few more days, with his physical condition still not 100%.
Inter midfielder Matias Vecino is still being monitored, the report continues. The 28-year-old Uruguayan, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, is suffering from an inflamed knee and is hoping to avoid surgery on it.
The player has made 23 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1676 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided one assist.
