FIGC Protocol Regarding Restart Of Squad Training Has Been Handed To Minister Of Health

The FIGC protocol that could restart group training has been handed over to the Italian Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the FIGC are hoping that squad training can be restarted on the 18th of May. Handing over the protocol to the Minister of Health is the first of many bureaucratic steps that could help restart squad training sessions. The FIGC are hoping that there will be the approval for squad training later today, giving Italian teams a timeline to work with.

Italian clubs returned to their training centres earlier this week, with players taking Coronavirus tests before undergoing staggered training sessions. All of the Inter squad tested negative for the contagion, but coach Antonio Conte has not yet been tested and so has been forced to remain a safe distance away from the squad.

Inter only want money for Argentine star Lautaro Martinez and won’t offer Barcelona any discount, according to a report from Spanish journalist Francesc Aguilar earlier today.

The Blaugrana have been keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentine striker for some time now but have been attempting to offer Inter a variety of deals, instead of paying the full amount of his €111 million release clause.

From Paris they offered Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes, two excellent players. Marotta said they want money. We apply this position to Lautaro Martínez. Inter wants money in hand.”

French left back Layvin Kurzawa has been offered to Inter, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the 27-year-old Frenchman’s contract is expiring with Paris Saint Germain at the end of the season, and so the player’s entourage are looking for a new home for the player. He has been offered to Inter and Juventus, as well as Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle.

Whilst the player is strong, he doesn’t have much experience in a 3-5-2 formation, coach Antonio Conte’s preferred set up.

Nerazzurri Legend Ivan Cordoba: “I Hope To See Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez Playing For My Inter”

Former Inter defender Ivan Ramiro Cordoba spoke about the future of Inter linked forward James Rodriguez in an interview in today’s paper edition of the English newspaper the Daily Mail.

“James is the best player for us Colombians. It’s up to him, he has everything we need to do well. I would like James to go to England because there are many interesting options for him. He is already in one of the best teams, Real Madrid, but the Premier League would be a great goal.”

Cordoba then suggested that he would love to see the player move to the Nerazzurri instead of the Premier League.

“Although, selfishly, I hope to see him in Italy in my Inter. I hope that one day he can replace me as a Colombian footballer at San Siro. Whoever catches him will still make an excellent purchase. “

The Nerazzurri have been linked with Rodriguez as the club look to strengthen their attacking department in the upcoming summer transfer window. Inter could look to sign the Colombian forward if they sell 22-year-old Argentine star Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona, with the Blaugrana working hard to set up a possible deal.

The 28-year-old Colombian forward, who is contracted to the Spanish club until the end of next season, has made 13 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 650 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided two assists, struggling to earn consistent playing time under coach Zinedine Zidane.

Italian Media Claims Inter Could Refrain From Signing Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal Due To Uncertain Future Of Radja Nainggolan

Inter may decide against signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal for three reasons, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte has identified the 32-year-old Chilean midfielder as his top target for a long time now, attempting to sign the player in the January transfer window. The Milanese club may decide against signing him for three reasons, however.

The first reason is that Inter still don’t know what will happen to Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, the report continues, and he could still return to the Nerazzurri if Cagliari don’t decide to sign him permanently.

The second reason is that the club haven’t decided if they want to sell Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini, and if Vidal arrives then the midfield department would become incredibly congested. The final reason is that the player will turn 33 later this month, a high age for the Nerazzurri, who are hoping for a younger squad with room for growth.

Italian Media Claims Inter Plan Overhaul Of Attack & Line Up Arsenal’s Aubameyang, Leipzig’s Werner & Napoli’s Mertens

Inter are planning an overhaul of their attack in the upcoming summer transfer window, especially if Lautaro Martinez is sold, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have already identified two players who could replace the 22-year-old Argentine striker, should the player be sold to Barcelona in the summer. These players are RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The German club only want money for the 24-year-old German striker, whilst the Nerazzurri could look to offer the Gunners Argentine forward Mauro Icardi in exchange for the 30-year-old Gabonese striker according to the report.

It is almost certain that Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez will leave Inter in the summer, the report continues, after his loan expires with the club. The player has not done enough to convince the Nerazzurri and he would have to drop his incredibly high wages.

To replace him, Inter have identified Belgian striker Dries Mertens as the perfect option. The player will be a free agent in the summer, after his contract expires with Napoli.

Antonio Conte Lists 7 Players He Wants At Inter Next Season – From Antonio Candreva To Victor Moses

A report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 has detailed how Inter are working to secure the core elements of coach Antonio Conte’s project.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with both Danilo D’Ambrosio and Antonio Candreva to extend their contracts until 2022, although an official announcement is unlikely to be made until the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri are also working to offer new contracts to two other core players, Samir Handanovic and Marcelo Brozovic. The Inter captain’s contract will be extended until 2023, the report continues, although his salary is unlikely to change much from the current sum of €3.2 million net per season.

Three players will also be signed permanently, the report continues. These are Stefano Sensi, Ashley Young and Victor Moses, all of whom have impressed the Lecce born coach and are involved in his future plans.
