Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali is intrigued by Inter’s offer and the chance to play under coach Antonio Conte, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Sassuolo CEO Carnevali: “No Doubt That Inter Will Sign Stefano Sensi Permanently”

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali confirmed Inter’s intention to permanently sign Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi in an interview with Italian broadcaster Ceramicanda earlier today.

“Will the value of players drop? Perhaps, but not our players, we are an expensive squad. Sensi will be redeemed by Inter, there’s no doubt about it. We’ll talk about renewals.”

Carnevali then spoke about how damaging stopping Serie A has been for the clubs and more damaging it would be if the season was cancelled.

“The stop has cost Serie A clubs more than €200 million, at Sassuolo around €10-12 million in damages. The damages would rise to €800 million and several clubs would be taken to court. The Serie A teams would also drag down the Serie B teams, the youth teams, women’s football.

“The Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora seems to me to be living a moment of confusion, but in the government, I see the emergence of new awareness and the maximum willingness of the clubs to meet the required safety conditions.”

Serie A clubs returned to their training grounds earlier this week in order to restart individual training sessions. Squads will be divided into groups to undertake staggered training sessions.

All of the Inter squad and staff that were tested have tested negative for Coronavirus, a relief considering some teams have multiple players still testing positive for the contagion. Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte has not yet taken a test, and so has only worked at Appiano Gentile a safe distance away from those who have tested negative. The clubs are hoping that the season will be restarted in the first weeks of June, allowing the season to finish before UEFA’s August 2nd deadline.

French Media Claims Inter Open To PSG Request To Lowering €70M Price Tag On Mauro Icardi

Inter may offer a discount to Paris Saint Germain on Argentine striker Mauro Icardi in order to close the deal quickly, according to a report from French media outlet Le10Sport earlier today.

The report details how the Parisian club have long been thinking about purchasing the 27-year-old Argentine striker, who joined the club on a season-long loan last summer, with an attached buy option worth around €70 million. His success on the pitch has only further confirmed to the French champions that he is worth the money.

PSG have been trying to ask Inter for a discount on the player, the report continues, highlighting how the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and decision to finish the current season have affected their financial situation.

Inter may be willing to lower his price to around €30-50 million together with a player to be included in exchange, all to ensure that the deal for the player is closed out. The Nerazzurri want to avoid a possible return of Icardi to Milan.

Lautaro Martinez Wont Force A Move From Inter If Negotiations With Barcelona Fall Apart

Inter star Lautaro Martinez may still remain with the club after this summer, due to Barcelona’s inability to meet the Nerazzurri’s demands, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sportmediaset earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have no intention in offering a discount on the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who has a release clause of €111 million.

The Milanese club did indicate to Barcelona that they would accept €90 million in cash and some players in exchange for Lautaro, but so far, the Blaugrana have only offered €60 million in cash and two players in exchange.

The Nerazzurri aren’t convinced by the players offered by Barcelona, the report continues, with the exception of Arturo Vidal, although they disagree with the Blaugrana about his value.

There is a chance that Lautaro could remain with Inter, as the player has suggested that he will not force a move away from Milan, and so the Nerazzurri may hold out for the offer they want.

Antonio Conte Gives Inter Green Light To Sign Juventus Target Sandro Tonali & Liverpool Target Timo Werner

Inter coach Antonio Conte has agreed to the deals for Sandro Tonali and Timo Werner, should Lautaro Martinez be sold to Barcelona in the summer, according to a report from Italian broadcaster SportMediaset earlier today.

The report details how the deals would total around €110 million, only €1 million lower than Lautaro’s release clause. The 22-year-old Argentine striker has been wanted by the Blaugrana for some time now, although their financial limitations mean that they cannot offer the full amount in cash.

Instead, they are hoping to tempt Inter with a deal of two players and €60 million. Conte’s green light means that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta can focus on the duo, the report continues, although that does depend on the situation of Lautaro.

Conte is not keen on any of the players offered by Barcelona, with the exception of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, who the Lecce born coach has been trying to bring to Milan since his arrival a year ago.

Spanish Media Reports Inter Accept Arturo Vidal As Part Payment From Barcelona In Lautaro Martinez Talks

Inter have agreed to include Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal in the deal for Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez, but have a disagreement with Barcelona about his value, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri still value Lautaro at €111 million, his release clause, and aren’t prepared to give the Blaugrana any discounts in the deal for the 22-year-old. Barcelona understand that Inter coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of the 32-year-old Chilean midfielder, the report continues, and so value him at around €20 million. The Nerazzurri disagree, instead believing that Vidal is not worth more than €15 million. Regardless though, both parties are confident of reaching an agreement.

Vidal has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1414 minutes. In that time, he has scored six goals and provided three assists, initially struggling to earn consistent minutes under previous coach Ernesto Valverde.
