Man Utd’s Paul Pogba To Decide Future Amid Links To Real Madrid, PSG & Inter

The time has come for Paul Pogba to make a decision on his future amid links to a host of clubs ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The World Cup winning midfielder has barely played this season as a result of injury but this has not stopped Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Inter and Juventus all sparking an interest in signing him.

Pogba continues to look forward to making a return to the field for Manchester United after a considerable time out on the sidelines but he does have some doubts about the growth prospects of the club.

This is why the four clubs above have sparked an interest in signing him and the report states that Inter could be in with a shout of signing him due to the fact Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Antonio Conte, both of whom were at Juventus during Pogba’s time there, are now at Inter.

Pogba could return to Juventus, a team he knows very well although he would make less money there than he would at either Real Madrid or PSG.

Sandro Tonali’s Agent On Inter, Juventus, Barcelona & PSG Links: “It’s Better For Him To Stay In Italy”

In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bozzo, the agent of Inter, Juventus and Barcelona transfer target Sandro Tonali, has spoken on the links among other things.

He started by talking about Tonali as a person and on his client’s debut campaign in Serie A, in which he has earned rave reviews despite the fact Brescia are sitting at the bottom of the table.

“I have known him for two years. I liked him immediately, like his beautiful family. They have all been important for his growth and for managing his reputation. He has passed his debut season in Serie A with flying colours,” he began the interview which appeared in today’s print edition of the Milan based newspaper.

Bozzo proceeded to share his delight at Brescia president Massimo Cellino’s recent commitment to allowing Tonali to make the decision on his future.

“I haven’t spoken to President Cellino, but I have read with pleasure that he wants to give Sandro the last word.”

He then spoke specifically on the links and revealed what he thinks is best for his client to do.

“There are undoubtedly important prospects for Sandro, at his age, few have had this opportunity.

“It’s better for Sandro to stay in Italy. He can immediately establish himself at a top club and it would be a shame for Serie A to lose him.”

Tonali, who has a contract with Brescia until the end of next season with an option to extend for a further season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a handful of assists.

Spanish Media Claim Inter & Barcelona Reach Agreement In Principle For Lautaro Martinez

Inter and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of Lautaro Martinez ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from print edition of Spanish news outlet Sport reported via FcInter1908.it

Inter had previously demanded €90 million for him but have accepted a €60 million plus two players offer from the Blaugrana club for the highly rated 22-year-old, the report claims.

Talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage and Lautaro, who joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal just shy of two years ago, is edging closer to the Camp Nou club each and every day.

The two clubs are yet to agree on the two players who will be included in the deal but the report goes on to claim that Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti, Arturo Vidal, Carles Alena and Nelson Semedo are all players who could possibly be included.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.

Inter Could Loan €20M Rated Ivan Perisic To Bayern Munich For Another Season

Ivan Perisic’s loan deal with Bayern Munich could be extended for another season according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Croatian national team winger joined the Bundesliga outfit this past Summer on a season long loan that came with a €20 million option to buy attached and by the end of May the clubs will have to decide what is happening with him.

The Coronavirus crisis has changed everything and has led to Inter management even considering the possibility of a new loan deal for the 31-year-old, who, alongside Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan, was judged to be out of the Inter project.

Inter have no intention of taking on Perisic’s €4.6 million annual salary and if unable to get a permanent move sorted for him, they could just loan him out again.

Moreover, the report adds that if Inter are to loan him out again, they could extend Perisic’s contract by a further season, just like they did with Mauro Icardi prior to his loan to Paris Saint Germain.

Barcelona Give Inter 10 Day Ultimatum To Accept Offer Of €80M Cash + 2 Players For Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona have given Inter an ultimatum in negotiations over Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Blaugrana club have offered €80 million for the 22-year-old and are also allowing Inter to choose from Junior Firpo, Nelson Semedo and Jean-Clair Todibo as part of the deal.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are not at all fazed by this ultimatum and they continue to demand that the cash element of the deal is at least €90 million or there will be no deal done.

Inter believe that the former Racing Club player will grow even more next season which will in turn lead to an increase to his transfer value.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has already probed the ground with Inter and Mauro Icardi regarding a permanent switch.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the recently crowned French champions, who can sign him up on a permanent basis for €70 million.

Radja Nainggolan Hoping To Return To Inter

Radja Nainggolan has told some trusted friends that he is ready to return to Inter and hopeful of getting another go at things at the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Belgian midfielder is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A side Cagliari and it is highly unlikely that they will sign him up on a permanent basis given his salary is out of reach for them.

Inter manager Antonio Conte respects Nainggolan and really wanted him in the past and should no interesting offers arrive Conte could well give Nainggolan a second chance at the Nerazzurri.

Zenit St. Petersburg, Newcastle United and Everton are all seemingly interested in signing him but for personal reasons the newly turned 32-year-old wishes to stay in Italy.

The report also refuses to rule out the possibility of Nainggolan re-uniting with former manager Luciano Spalletti if Spalletti is to find himself a new managerial gig soon.

Nerazzurri Treble Hero Julio Cesar: “I’d Have Stayed At Inter Forever If I Could”

In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia as part of their ‘Casa Sky Sport’ interview series aired yesterday, legendary Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar spoke on a range of topics, many of which related to Inter.

The former Brazilian national team shot-stopper spoke on his most beautiful saving he made during his playing career which spanned some 21 years.

“The best and most important save is the one against Messi in the Champions League semifinal. Even now when I return to Italy many fans talk about this save. The fact it was Messi makes it even more beautiful,” he began.

He proceeded to downplay the idea that there was a time during his Inter career when he was the best goalkeeper on the planet.

“I am very humble, so I never felt the best in the world, I lived in the moment when I went on the field. I did great things at Inter but at that time there were also many other goalkeepers who were doing very well in the world.”

Cesar, who also represented Flamengo and Toronto among others during his career, then sang the praises of current Inter number one Samir Handanovic.

“He is very strong, even if they don’t talk much about him abroad because Inter have played little in the Champions League since he has been there, but for me he is definitely one of the five strongest goalkeepers in the world.”

He was then asked if he ever expected to win as much as he did during his seven year spell on Inter’s books.

“No, honestly I did not. Every year we won something. We won 14 trophies during my time with the club, an average of two a year. I did not expected Inter to go so long without winning another trophy.”

Next the now 40-year-old spoke on former Inter manager Roberto Mancini, the manager who brought him to Inter.

“Thanks to him I gradually began to understand the importance of tactics in Italy. He was always perfect ad very vain. He believed in me.

“I am happy that we won trophies in those years with him. I want to take this opportunity to thank him for the opportunity. I have told him many times, he has changed the life of my family and I.”

He then reminisced about his famous Milan derby penalty save against former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“Everyone always asks me about this. I tried to take away his concentration. I went up to him and I said, ‘you will shoot this down the middle, I know you well’. He then shot, he hit it very well and he replied, ‘now go get the ball you piece of…’.”

In conclusion, he was asked whether he would have stayed with Inter forever if he could have

“Definitely yes but when I left something had happened that I could not understand. I will always show respect to the club though for what they have done for me and my family. I left Inter and went out through the same door through which I entered. If it were up to me I certainly would have stayed at Inter for the rest of my career.”

Argentina U-20 Coach Batista: “Inter’s Lautaro Martinez Is Very Similar To Gabriel Batistuta”

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Argentina under 20 national team manager Fernando Batista has sang the praises of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

“What I’ve always liked about Lautaro is his desire to stay a little longer to train. He has an impressive instinct, he knows how to read the game,” he explained in an interview with the Spanish news outlet.

“He is lethal and he scores so many goals by anticipating how things will go. He has power and personality and incredible potential but he is still missing a lot to get to the top. He makes the correct decisions and he has grown up a lot in Italy.”

Batista proceeded to liken Lautaro to the legendary Gabriel ‘Batigol’ Batistuta, who was one of the best strikers on the planet, especially during the 1990s.

“Lautaro is very similar to Batistuta in terms of his ability In close combat, his speed, his heading ability and physical power. Lautaro is more technical than Batistuta and is also stronger with the ball.”

Next Batista went on to reveal that he does not think that the highly rated 22-year-old would have any problems at all when it comes to adapting to Spanish football, where defenders do not mark as tightly as they do in Italy.

“He would adapt more easily to Spain than he did in Italy. The Italian defences are more fierce, they defend more, they don’t give spaces.

“The Spanish defenders give two or three seconds of time. Cristiano Ronaldo has not scored as easily as he did at Real Madrid in Italy because they mark him in a certain way. Someone like Lautaro can quickly adapt to Barcelona or Real.”

In conclusion he was asked if the fact Luis Suarez will still be with Barcelona could have a possible affect on Lautaro, if he is to move to the Blaugrana club.

“It seems to me that Barcelona are looking for a player very similar to Suarez. Lautaro can do something very similar to what the Uruguayan does and the two can play together without problems.

“Today Lautaro plays with Lukaku. They have similar characteristics and support each other. If you play 4-3-3 then there is only room for one of them but with these two ‘beasts’ in front there would be great opportunities.

“They would give Messi more options for passes than he has now. I would certainly play Lautaro and Suarez.”

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Marko Arnautovic: “Inter Was An Exceptional Experience & I Learned A Lot From Jose Mourinho”

In an interview with Austrian broadcaster LaOla TV yesterday afternoon, former Inter player Marko Arnautovic has reminisced about his time with the Nerazzurri.

The Austrian national team attacker, who is currently on the books of Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, spent the 2009/10 season on loan at Inter, the season the club won a historic treble.

“I will never be a person who claims to have won the Champions League or the Treble. I was at Inter, it was a good experience,” he began the interview.

The 31-year-old then went on to sing the praises of then Inter manager Jose Mourinho and revealed he still keeps in touch with Mourinho and his teammates from back then.

“It was certainly an exceptional experience for me as a young man. I learned a lot from Jose Mourinho and I brought a lot of these teachings with me. If we talk about studying football, then he is the best manager.

“We speak from time to time, he asks me how I’m doing. I’m still in touch with everyone from that team because we have a group chat on WhatsApp.”

Arnautovic made just three appearances across all competitions for Inter during his season long loan at the club, all of which came as a substitute. He also appeared once for Inter’s Primavera but never managed to make any goal contributions at either level.

After leaving Inter, he went on to represent Werder Bremen and then earned himself a move to then Premier League side Stoke City and also played for West Ham prior to his move to China this past Summer.
