Inter Summer transfer window target Marash Kumbulla’s fiancée would prefer to move to Milan over Naples according to a report in today’s print edition of Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The highly rated Hellas Verona and Albanian national team defender has been strongly linked with both Inter and Napoli in recent weeks and Inter were already seemingly ahead in the race but could perhaps be even further ahead due to what Kumbulla’s fiancée wants.

The 20-year-old centre back, who has also drawn links to Everton, has been one of the revelations of the Serie A season so far and it is understood that Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti would like in the region of €30 million for him.

Kumbulla, who is under contract with the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored a single goal.

Former Inter captain Mauro Icardi wishes to play for Juventus according to a report from the online edition of Argentine newspaper El Intransigente.

The 27-year-old Argentine is currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain from Inter and PSG have an option to sign him up on a permanent basis for €70 million.

PSG could buy him and then sell him on to Juventus but this will mean they will have to pay Inter a further €15 million and due to this things have changed drastically.

Juventus are well aware that negotiations will be far from easy now and it has also complicated things for Icardi who is wanting to play in Italy again.

The report goes on to add that due to these complications, Juventus have began shopping around for an alternative to Icardi and have identified Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik as someone they could go in for instead.

Sampdoria have sparked an interest in signing Banfield youngster Agustin Urzi according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Sampdoria have become the latest Italian club to have drawn links with a move for Urzi, with Inter, Roma and Fiorentina all also having been linked with a move for him recently in the media.

Banfield president Lucia Barbuto, who made history when she became the first female president of an Argentine club, yesterday confirmed that the 19-year-old has a €30 million release clause in his current contract with the club, which runs until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Barbuto also claimed that several European clubs have made enquiries for the Argentina under 23 national team winger but as of yet there have been no concrete offers made for him.

This season Urzi has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date. In just shy of 1500 minutes on the park, he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Barcelona have cooled their interest in signing Brescia teen sensation Sandro Tonali due to La Rondinelle’s asking price for him according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Barcelona showed a keen interest in landing the highly rated Italian national team midfielder who has been likened to Andrea Pirlo but upon learning Brescia wanted in the region of €60 million for him, they deemed a deal to be unfeasible.

This news will come as a real boost to both Inter and Juventus as there is now one less club for them to compete for his signature with.

Tonali is widely regarded as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment and Brescia club president Massimo Cellino recently admitted that he has promised Tonali that he will be allowed to make the first decision on his future.

This season Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied five assists.

Bayern Munich appear set to imminently take up their option to buy on loan winger Ivan Perisic from Inter according to a report from the online edition of Croatian news outlet Sportske Novosti.

The Croatian national team player joined the reigning Bundesliga club on a season long loan from Inter this past Summer at a cost of €5 million.

As part of the deal Bayern Munich secured an option to buy the former Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund man on a permanent basis for €20 million and the report goes on to claim that they may even try and seek a discount from Inter for him, although the report does not specify exactly how much of a discount they will try and get.

Whilst in Bavaria, the 31-year-old has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date. In exactly 1200 minutes on the park, he has scored five goals and has provided eight assists for his teammates.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will try to bring Juventus star Paulo Dybala to the club in the coming months according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter could well make a move for Dybala with funds raised through the sale of his compatriot Mauro Icardi, who is currently out on loan at Paris Saint Germain.

The reigning French champions have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for €70 million and in the event they sign him and then sell him on to another Italian club they will be due Inter a further sum of €15 million.

Dybala is currently under contract with the Bianconeri until the end of the 2021/22 season and the report claims that Juventus are working on extending his contract with the club.

The 26-year-old has made 34 appearances across all competitions to date this season, in which he has scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists.

Inter have laid out their demands to Barcelona who continue to court striker Lautaro Martinez ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report aired moments ago by Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The Nerazzurri have told Barcelona that they will only let the highly rated 22-year-old depart the club if they receive €90 million, Arturo Vidal on a permanent basis and Antoine Griezmann on a season long loan with Barcelona paying some of his €17 million annual wages.

In the event that Barcelona give in to Inter’s demands, Inter have identified a few players who could be brought in to replace Lautaro, who the report claims has been offered a €7 million annual salary from Barcelona, about three times what he currently earns at Inter.

One of Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner and Paris Saint Germain’s Edinson Cavani could be brought in to fill the void he will leave at the Nerazzurri.

The Italian legal adviser of Mauro Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Nara, Elio Letterio Pin, has voiced his views on what the future could hold for Icardi and started with what he thinks Paris Saint Germain intend to do with him.

“Leonardo knew what Mauro would have done during the year and this came true. Icardi is a champion, he is very strong. In my opinion, Leonardo intends to keep him and I hope he does,” he began the interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli earlier on today.

Letterio Pino then went on to discuss the possibility of the 27-year-old Argentine joining Inter’s fellow Serie A side Napoli.

“It would be a beautiful idea and De Laurentiis previously did everything to bring him to Naples but Icardi said no as he is still very close to Inter. He did not want to betray the Nerazzurri by going to another Italian team.

“The last contacts date back to last summer. Then everyone stopped. Now the presidents think of the championship, not the market.”

He proceeded to discuss Icardi’s move to PSG this past Summer on a season long loan and what he thinks Icardi’s intentions are.

“The opportunity to go to PSG presented itself and he took full advantage of it. At the moment, Icardi is thinking of staying in Paris.”

Letterio Pino was then asked what will happen if PSG do not pay €70 million to sign Icardi on a permanent basis.

“In the event that PSG do not sign him up, Wanda Nara will know how to make the right decision for Inter.”

In conclusion he spoke on the continued links that Icardi has drawn to Inter’s arch rivals Juventus.

“Now I speak a little as a fan, but the idea that a former Inter captain moves to Juventus seems a bit forced to me. I do not see it as a very feasible track but Wanda will take care of things.”

Whilst in the French capital, Icardi has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 20 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
