Arsenal & Manchester United Join Inter In Race To Sign Parma’s Starlet Dejan Kulusevski

Inter are facing competition from Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United for Atalanta owned midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the British tabloid Sun.

The report details how both English sides have been following Kulusevski, currently on loan at Parma, following his strong start to the season and have begun thinking of him as a possible transfer target next summer.

However, Inter are still ahead of the competition for the Swede’s signature, the report continues. The Nerazzurri are hoping that the 19-year-old could help provide more midfield depth for the club, as well as being an important investment for the future.

So far this season Kulusevski has made 13 appearances for Parma, scoring two goals and providing five assists in the process. An incredible run of form, considering that last season he only made three first team appearances for Atalanta, and failed to contribute to a goal in that time.

Inter Defender Milan Skriniar: “Slovakia Will Qualify For Euro 2020 But It Won’t Be Easy”

Inter defender Milan Skriniar spoke to Slovakian media outlet Pravda.sk, discussing Slovakia’s hopes of qualifying for Euro 2020, despite their poor performances in their qualifying campaign so far.

“I think we’ll go to the tournament. I hope someone will finally help us, because it hasn’t happened since I joined the national team. We’ll go on the pitch with a desire to win, but it won’t be easy.”

The 24-year-old defender further elaborated on the difficulty the squad will face against Azerbaijan and their hopes of avoiding the Nations League playoffs.

“It’s true that in Baku we got a win without a problem, but we scored with shots from outside the box, which we don’t always get. We know that the match against Azerbaijan will be difficult, but we’re focusing on the current qualification and we’re not thinking about the Nations League.”

Slovakia are currently fourth in their Euro 2020 qualifying group, and need Wales and Hungary to draw if they want to qualify for the tournament without needing to play in the playoffs of the Nations League.

Antonio Conte Looking To Fix An Inter Defence That Has Conceded In Last Seven Serie A Games

Inter coach Antonio Conte understands the importance of a strong defence if a club are to win the championship, with a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport touching on the Nerazzurri’s inconsistent defensive record so far this season.

The report details how Conte won his three league titles with Juventus all thanks to a strong defence, with the Bianconeri conceding the least goals in the league in each title winning campaign under the 50-year-old Italian.

Considering that Inter have already conceded 12 goals after 12 games, it’s clear that Conte can’t be satisfied by the Nerazzurri’s defensive performances. In the first five games of the season Inter had the best defence out of Europe’s top five leagues, the report highlights.

However, from the sixth game onwards defensive cracks started to show, with the Nerazzurri failing to keep a clean sheet in any league games since their 1-0 win over Lazio at the end of September.

The statistics show a similar story, the report adds, showing that in the first five games of the season Inter conceded around 2.8 shots on target per game, but in the following seven games, they conceded an average of 13.85 shots per game with 4 shots being on target.

Dalbert’s Agent: “At Inter He Never Got The Chance To Play Consistently”

Inter owned left back Dalbert’s agent, Emerson Figueiredo, spoke in an interview about the player in today’s paper edition of the Florence based newspaper La Nazione.

“I’m not surprised at all by his performance. The fact that he became a starter of Fiorentina is an award for the hard work done in recent years.”

“Dalbert is doing very well, he immediately adapted to the new club and told me that he is completely crazy for a wonderful city like Florence. At Fiorentina he has the total confidence of the coach and of all the directors. At Inter he didn’t have the chance to play with this continuity and now he is repaying everyone.”

The agent also revealed that the player’s future is still uncertain, due to the loan deal not including a buy option or obligation to buy.

“I’m in constant contact with Fiorentina on this subject but the important thing now is that he continues this fantastic season in the same way, in which so far he has been the hero.”

Italian Report Claims Inter Have Decided On A Strategy For The January Transfer Window

Inter’s strategy for the upcoming transfer window has already been decided, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, with the club certain that they need a new midfielder and striker.

The report details how there are multiple names on the list of midfielders, from Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, through to Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski and Sassuolo’s Alfred Duncan, ending with Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul. The Nerazzurri are considering all these players and haven’t yet decided which one to focus all their efforts on.

However, there already have a striker in mind, the report adds. That player is unhappy Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud. The 33-year-old Frenchman has only made six appearances for the South London club so far this season, thanks to the strong form of young English striker Tammy Abraham.

Although, there is one reason for the Nerazzurri to be concerned, the report highlights. Due to Chelsea’s transfer market ban, they may not be willing to part with Giroud due to being unable to find a replacement. Despite this, Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was in London last week to meet with the Blues’ management.

Gianfelice Facchetti: “Surprised There Is No Caolition Between Inter & Torino Fans”

Italian actor Gianfelice Facchetti, son of Inter hero Giacinto Facchetti, discussed his love for both Inter and Torino in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

“Apart from my beloved Inter, I have a special sympathy for Toro. And for both personal and family reasons. As a child I played in the team of my area, which was also the area of Valentino Mazzola, Cassano d’Adda. Our family lived there. And the local team wore the colours of the Grande Torino, in memory of Valentino.”

Facchetti revealed which position he used to play and a humorous nickname his father gave him.

“I played in goal. And the goalkeeper’s uniform was the same every season as that of the 80’s Toro goalkeepers. But I also happened to wear Bacigalupo’s black shirt. At that time, it was a Torino colony, Cassano. And my father used to call me, like the goalkeeper of the Grande Torino, ‘Baci’ (Kisses) as a joke.”

The Italian actor revealed his happiness at the Grande Torino Museum, which also included a tribute to his father.

“My father already has dedicated exhibitions and entitled streets and squares, in Italy. But it’s the first time ever that an exhibition has been set up by an opposing supporter. Our family and I are honored. Excited. Thank you. It’s a beautiful recognition.”

“It’s a message of sportiness and respect launched to the football system. It also means getting closer to the game in the best possible way. Putting positive values on the table. And since the Turin Museum has been created and is run by fans, it is incredibly nice to underline this absolutely popular choice.”

“Also, in this case the Toro fans show special qualities. A superior sensitivity. I’m an interviewer. But I’m sure it’s also great to cheer for the Bull.”

The 45-year-old also touched on the similarities between the Torino and Inter fans.

“Then I’ve always felt strong similarities and evocations between these two worlds. I’ve always been surprised by the fact that there isn’t a twinning between the two fan groups. I also discovered many historical affinities I didn’t know about when I wrote the book for Inter’s 110th anniversary in 2018.”

“I’ll tell you an anecdote that dates back to 2008: and this will certainly please Torino’s fans. For our Centenary I called Bearzot to invite him to the Nerazzurri party. The famous coach had played for us. But he said to me, ‘I don’t feel like it. Yes, Inter was my first love, but then I married Toro.’ And in those words, I recognised a very strong bond, insurmountable. Fidelity. Until the last moment.”

He spoke about how both clubs have a rivalry with Juventus.

“In fact, once on TV I said: Juventus will have also Cristiano, but all the others are convinced that Jesus cheers for Toro.”

Facchetti discussed on the arrival of Antonio Conte at Inter.

“There are always some Inter fans who, jokingly, say to me: ‘We’re cleaning up Conte, now that he’s come to us’. The truth is that Conte has never been a villain, unlike other coaches who had said ‘never to Juve’, ‘never to Inter’, but then… Once he became a coach, Conte immediately said: ‘I will always and only wear the jersey of the teams I will train’. I like his Inter: he’s making progress, after those under Spalletti.”

Finally, Facchetti touched on the future of the Nerazzurri.

“The club is showing that they have a plan. This year we can see a further growth both from the technical point of view and from the personality one. The team has proved to be stronger than last year. As for Marotta: he worked for many clubs, not just for Juve. And when Dad was at the top of Inter, he also tried to take him to Milan. He already recognised his very competent abilities.”

Inter & Juventus To Go Head To Head Over Prospect Of Signing Federico Chiesa & Sandro Tonali

Inter and Juventus are in a transfer market derby to sign two young Italian talents, Federico Chiesa and Sandro Tonali, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Bianconeri are still incredibly keen on acquiring both Tonali and Chiesa, with the Turin based club being extremely close to signing the latter this summer.

Leaked reports have shown that Juventus offered between €50-70 million for Chiesa, offering him a five-year contract with much higher wages. Due to the failure of a completed deal, it’s likely Juventus will return for him next summer, leaving Inter to try and compete with them.

Furthermore, both clubs are also fighting for the signature of Brescia starlet Tonali, who is currently valued at around €40 million, the report continues.

Talks with Brescia President Massimo Cellino are already underway, but for now there seems to be no end in sight for the negotiations for either club.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta & Sporting Director Piero Ausilio Hope To Earn €110 Million From Sale Of Players Curren tly On Loan

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio have been following the performances of all of the players that Inter loaned out this summer, hoping that the sales of all of them may raise over €110 million, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri management are incredibly happy with the performances of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi at Paris Saint Germain, and don’t regret sending him away on loan at all.

The player’s relationship breakdown with both the squad and the management meant that he had to leave in order to avoid poisoning the dressing room, and his strong performances only make it more likely that PSG will activate the €70 million buy option attached to the player.

Furthermore, the report highlighted the impressive performances of Radja Nainggolan at Cagliari. The Belgian midfielder was sent away in order to make the dressing room more cohesive. Inter are hoping that Cagliari will purchase the player at the end of the loan spell, due to the low cost of around €4.5 million, however the deal would rely on Nainggolan’s willingness to take a wage drop. If he returns to Inter next summer, the Nerazzurri would look for buyers across Europe.

Finally, the report examined the performances so far of Ivan Perisic, Joao Mario and Dalbert. The Croatian midfielder has impressed in the Bundesliga, and the Bavarian club will be forced to purchase him for €20 million at the end of the season thanks to the obligation to buy included in the deal. Joao Mario has impressed with Lokomotiv Moscow so far this season and is likely to be bought by the Russian club for €18 million next summer if he keeps up these performances. Finally, Dalbert’s play with Fiorentina has seen him return to positive form, but he may still return to the Nerazzurri next summer.
