Inter Manager Conte Wants Fiorentina Duo Chiesa & Castrovilli Signed This Summer

Inter manager Antonio Conte is keen for both Federico Chiesa and Gaetano Castrovilli to be signed from Fiorentina in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter are interested in signing both players but one will seemingly be easier to acquire than the other. Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has recently admitted the club would accommodate Chiesa if he were to ask to leave but he seems very much reluctant to deal away Castrovilli, who has been a real revelation this term.

Chiesa has long been linked with a move away from La Viola and the report goes on to explain that the player’s representatives already have a draft contract agreement in place with Inter’s arch rivals Juventus, who are also long term admirers of the 22-year-old winger.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to add that AC Milan have also made a few exploratory enquiries to Brescia with regard to the availability of Sandro Tonali, who has also been linked with a move to Inter as of late.

Barcelona Could Send Emerson Royal To Inter As Part Of Deal For Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona could insert Emerson Royal into negotiations with Inter over Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Brazilian full back, who has been dubbed the new Maicon in his homeland, is currently out on loan at Real Betis until the end of next season but Barcelona could bring him back early and use him in a deal for Lautaro, who is, as per some reports, their number one transfer target ahead of the Summer transfer window.

Emerson aside, the report goes on to state that Arturo Vidal or Carles Alena could be included in a deal for Lautaro, who has a €111 million release clause in his current contract, something Barcelona are unwilling to pay.

Barcelona would prefer to do a deal on a player(s) plus cash basis and some reports have suggested Inter would be open to such a deal but only if the cash element is at least €90 million.

Inter Linked Arsenal Striker Aubameyang & Man Utd Midfield Pogba’s Prices Drop Due To Covid-19

The prices of some players recently linked to Inter have dropped as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The crisis forced football to a halt about two months ago and there has been significant financial damage caused as a result.

The crisis has and will impact the upcoming Summer transfer window where big money transfers are expected to be a rarity.

Inter have been linked with a move for Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who now costs under €40 million having previously been valued at around €60 million prior to the crisis beginning.

Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba is another player Inter have been linked with whose value has dropped.

The 27-year-old is valued by Manchester United at €90 million but it is highly unlikely that they will be able to get above €70 million for the World Cup winner, who has also been linked with Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.

RB Leipzig’s Werner Chooses Liverpool So Inter Turn Attention To Arsenal’s Aubameyang

Inter transfer target Timo Werner has set his sights on a move to Liverpool according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The RB Leipzig forward, who has been one of the most prolific on the planet in recent seasons, has chosen Liverpool due to manager Jurgen Klopp.

With Inter set to miss out on Werner, the Nerazzurri have Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in mind as someone they could go in for instead.

Inter could perhaps acquire the Gabonese international in a swap deal that would see Mauro Icardi go in the opposite direction, if Paris Saint Germain do not take up their option to sign the former Inter captain on a permanent basis.

The report goes on to add that Dries Mertens is yet to decide where his future lies but it appears set to be away from Naples. Inter and Roma have shown an interest in him domestically whilst Chelsea, Newcastle United and AS Monaco have showed an interest from abroad.

German Media Reports Inter Interested In Bayern Munich’s David Alaba

Inter are interested in signing Bayern Munich and Austrian national team defender David Alaba in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from German news outlet Sport 1.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be a great admirer of the full back and previously tried to sign him whilst he was in charge at Premier League side Chelsea.

Alaba’s contract with the Bavarian club is due to expire at the end of next season and he has also drawn links to Spanish and English clubs.

The report claims that whilst unlikely, a move away from Bayern Munich is still possible for the 27-year-old, who has scored one goal and tallied two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

It also goes on to add that his agent Pini Zahavi is not currently in talks with Bayern Munich over a contract renewal but once Zahavi can get to Munich talks will take place.

PSG Join Race With Barcelona To Sign Inter’s €111M Rated Striker Lautaro Martinez

Paris Saint Germain have entered the race to sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi wishes to get revenege on Barcelona who snatched Frenkie De Jong from under their noses last Summer by signing Lautaro from Inter, who is seemingly one of, if not, the top target of Barcelona’s for this Summer, according to report.

The report does however go on to state that PSG cannot offer Lautaro several things that Barcelona can. For example, Lautaro would not be able to play with Lionel Messi, play for one of the top two clubs on the planet, play in the best league in the world or a move to a country where he would not need to learn the language.

This season Lautaro, who has a €111 million release clause in his current contract, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Ex-Inter Captain Mauro Icardi Tops Juventus’ List Of Replacements For Gonzalo Higuain

Inter owned Mauro Icardi tops Juventus’ list of potential replacements for Gonzalo Higuain according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Higuain’s future looks set to be far away from the Turin club and in the two months that football has been on hold he has begun to think a great deal about his future.

His contract with Juventus is due to expire at the end of next season and he is waiting to understand whether he will see out the remainder of his deal or be sold. Recent reports have suggested that Higuain could return to where it all began for him, River Plate.

With Higuain’s future up in the air, Juventus are on the lookout for a replacement and Icardi, who is currently out on loan at Paris Saint Germain, tops their list.

Icardi aside, the report goes on to explain that Napoli’s Arkadiusz ‘Arek’ Milik is also on their radar.

Inter Target Timo Werner’s Release Clause Set At €50M If RB Leipzig Don’t Win The Bundesliga

Timo Werner’s release clause could be reduced depending on how RB Leipzig fare in the remainder of the Bundesliga season according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

If Leipzig, who are currently sitting in third place, five points off of league leaders Bayern Munich, go on to win the league then Werner’s release clause will be €60 million.

However, if they fail to win the league, Werner’s release clause could drop down to €50 million, which would undoubtedly come much to the delight of the many clubs courting him ahead of the Summer transfer window.

As far as Inter are concerned, any move for Werner is dependent on what happens with Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be linked with a move to Catalan club Barcelona. Within the next 10 days things should be clearer.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Liverpool, who have shown an extremely strong interest in signing Werner, are now cooling their interest despite manager Jurgen Klopp’s desire to have him.

Inter Players Remain Concerned About Return To Training But Training Ground Is All Ready For Return

Concerns regarding a return to training remain high amongst Inter players according to a report in yesterday’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Since the beginning of the week athletes, including footballers, have been allowed to make the most of training facilities, albeit only on an individual basis for the time being.

The report from the Milan based newspaper explains that the Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti is ready for players to return.

The training ground has been secured and a plan has been put in place which helps reduce the risk of possible contagion amongst players and staff.

It goes on to add that there will be staggered training sessions to limit the amount of players present, players will have to keep their distance and they will be required to wear masks also.

Reports elsewhere in the media have stated that the testing process of all Inter players should be concluded either today or tomorrow and players could then make the most of facilities from Friday.

Ezequiel Munoz: “After Lionel Messi Inter’s Lautaro Martinez Is The Best Argentinian Footballer”

Former Palermo, Sampdoria and Genoa defender Ezequiel Munoz has shared his belief that compatriot Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is currently the second best Argentine footballer out there behind multi-time world player of the year winner Lionel Messi.

Lautaro has exploded this term, his first as a regular starter at Inter, and as a result of his explosion, he has found himself linked to several top clubs in the world, none more so than Barcelona, who have been courting him for several months.

Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have all also been linked with making a move for the 22-year-old sensation, who is under contract with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

“Apart from Messi, he is the best footballer from Argentina. He is strong, fast and scoresgoals. It’s normal for many teams to want him, he’s a top player,” Munoz explained in an interview with Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Munoz, who is currently on the books of Superliga Argentina side Lanus, was then asked who he prefers between Lautaro and Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

“They are different. I was lucky enough to play with Paulo. I would struggle to decide, they are two top players who are both important players for the national team.”
