Today’s reports that both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are interested in signing Barcelona target Lautaro Martinez is music to the ears of Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The 22-year-old striker has a €111 million release clause in his current contract and has drawn links to Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The report goes on to explain that Zhang, who is the youngest president in Inter history, could accept a player plus cash deal for the Argentine national team striker but only if the cash element of the deal is at least €80 million.

Lautaro joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Superliga Argentina side Racing Club back in the Summer of 2018 and he has exploded this season in tandem with new strike partner Romelu Lukaku.

Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Federico Chiesa’s transfer value could drop below the €40 million mark in the event that the 2019/20 season does not resume according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Fiorentina winger has long been linked with moves to Inter and Juventus and Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has revealed that he would be willing to let Chiesa to go if a fair offer was receieved.

The report claims that whilst Commisso is reluctant to accept anything less than €60 million and would like to insert a €100 million release clause into a new contract, he must take into consideration the impact that the Coronavirus crisis has had on player values.

Chiesa’s value as per the report is currently sitting at €45 million but if the season does not resume then it could drop down to €37 million. Even if the season does resume and it resumes behind closed doors it could drop down to €39 million.

This season Chiesa has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided five assists.

The report from Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter striker Romelu Lukaku’s value could also drop from €88 million to as low as €74 million.

Nelson Semedo finds himself at a crossroads at Barcelona ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Portuguese player will either have to sign a new contract with the club or he will be forced out as Barcelona look to raise funds for the transfer market.

A whole host of European clubs have shown an interest in signing him with this report claiming that Inter, Paris Saint Germain, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are all keen on him.

As per the report, Barcelona could in fact use Semedo as part of a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez or Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo.

The 26-year-old is currently under contract with Barcelona until the end of the 2021/22 season and has a €100 million release clause as part of his contract.

This season Semedo has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied five assists.

Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has an interest in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a series of Argentine and French media reports.

The former Inter manager has seemingly identified the highly rated 22-year-old as someone he could bring in to bolster the attacking department which is set to undergo a lot of change in the Summer.

Club legend Edinson Cavani looks set to depart on a free transfer when his contract expires and Mauro Icardi is also set to return to Inter as PSG aren’t too keen on signing him.

Icardi joined the recently crowned French champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal they obtained an option to buy set at €70 million but these reports suggest that Paris Saint Germain will not be keeping hold of him.

Lautaro has also been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona, who, as per various reports, are in talks with Inter over a player(s) plus cash deal for him.

Paris Saint Germain have to make a decision on whether to keep a hold of Mauro Icardi by the end of this month according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The 27-year-old striker is currently on loan at them from Inter and they have an option to sign him up on a permanent basis for a sum of no less than €70 million, which would rise to €85 million in the event he is subsequently sold to an Italian club.

Inter’s arch rivals Juventus are keeping a very close eye on the former Barcelona academy player’s situation and would be willing to do a player(s) plus cash deal with Paris Saint Germain for him if they sign him up permanently.

The report goes on to explain that Juventus could offer Miralem Pjanic, Douglas Costa and one of Alex Sandro or Mattia De Sciglio in exchange for Icardi, who has scored 20 goals in 30 games for Paris Saint Germain this term.

Contact between Inter and Barcelona has began over Emerson Royal according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The full back has earned rave reviews this season whilst with fellow Spanish club Real Betis, who he is on loan with until the end of next season.

Barcelona could however bring him back this Summer and could possibly use him as part of a deal to land Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, who they are extremely interested in signing as per various reports both in Spanish and Italian media.

German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in signing the 21-year-old Brazilian under 23 national team player and are willing to offer in the region of €20-30 million for him.

This season Emerson, who has a contract with Barcelona until the end of the 2023/24 season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date. In 2145 minutes on the field, he has scored three goals and provided five assists.

Inter and Juventus share a number of transfer targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window and are set to go head to head to sign said players according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The first player is Chelsea and Italian national team defender Emerson Palmieri. Both Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri have worked previously with the 25-year-old, who has just over two years left on his current deal.

Juventus made an attempt to sign him back in January and the report claims that they could offer Alex Sandro as part of a deal to avoid getting caught up in a bidding war.

The second player that the two clubs are keen on is Brescia teen sensation Sandro Tonali, who is widely regarded as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to add that both clubs also have their eyes on signing Fiorentina duo Federico Chiesa and Gaetano Castrovilli.

Dries Mertens has yet to decide whether he wishes to sign a contract extension from Napoli or move on to a new challenge according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The newly turned 33-year-old’s contract with the Stadio San Paolo club is due to expire at the end of this season and whilst Napoli have offered him a contract extension, he also has several clubs interested in signing him.

Inter, AS Monaco, Newcastle United and Chelsea all have an interest in signing the Belgian national team player. A move to Inter has unquestionable charm but Mertens is not keen on remaining in Italy to play for another team other than Napoli, who he has spent the last seven years with.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is very vigilant on the whole situation and is waiting any news on the situation and the report concludes that Mertens will make a decision on his future at the end of the season.

Inter will not take up their option to sign Victor Moses on a permanent basis from Chelsea as they deem the agreed price to be too high according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Nigerian national team player joined Inter in the most recent January transfer window on loan until the end of the season and as part of the deal Inter obtained an option to buy him for €12 million.

The ideal solution for Inter would be to get him on loan for another season but this is highly unlikely unless he is to sign a contract extension with Chelsea.

The report goes on to claim that Inter are in fact lukewarm to the idea of keeping Moses at the club and have their sights set on other players such as Hector Bellerin and Federico Chiesa.

Since his arrival at Inter, Moses has made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has contributed a single assist.
