Torino Cool Interest In Roberto Gagliardini With Inter Unwilling To Let Him Leave

Torino have been forced to cool their interest in signing Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

La Granata had developed a keen interest in adding Gagliardini to their ranks in recent weeks but have been forced to cool their interest as a result of Inter not wanting to let the player go and the player himself not wanting to leave the Nerazzurri either.

Although Gagliardini may not move between the two clubs, there are a number of other players who could well swap Milan for Turin and vice versa.

The report explains that Inter are interested in signing Torino central defender Armando Izzo whilst Torino have an interest in Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan and young striker Andrea Pinamonti.

Pinamonti is currently on the books of Genoa but Inter have a gentleman’s agreement in place with the Rossoblu club to bring him back to the club for a sum in the region of €20 million in the upcoming transfer window.

Juventus Leading Race To Sign Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri But Inter Haven’t Given Up

Inter hope to be able to overtake Juventus in the race to sign Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Both clubs have courted the Brazilian born Italian national team player for some time and are set to go head to head to sign him in the upcoming transfer window as they look to strengthen their defensive departments.

The report explains that Juventus are seeking an agreement with Chelsea which would see them pay up the fee across several instalments and such a situation would be more feasible if Mattia De Sciglio is to depart the club by the end of the month.

The 25-year-old has been with his current employers since January 2018 and is contracted to them until the end of the 2021/22 season. This season he has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.

Italian Media Report Inter, Fiorentina & Monaco Keen On Torino Captain Andrea Belotti

Inter are one of three clubs who are interested in signing Torino captain Andrea Belotti according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter’s fellow Serie A side Fiorentina as well as Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco are both also interested in signing the Italian national team forward.

Torino however have no intention of selling the 26-year-old striker, who is under contract with them until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Torino have an interest in signing Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Whilst a swap deal could be done for the Belgian, perhaps with Armando Izzo or Nicolas Nkoulou, the report goes on to add that Torino would prefer to sign the Belgian in a loan with option to buy set at €10-11 million. Inter would however have to cover part of Nainggolan’s annual salary for the loan though.

Atletico Madrid Striker Alvaro Morata’s High Salary Poses A Problem For Inter

There are several obstacles to Inter signing Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The player’s annual salary of €10.5 million upfront is out of Inter’s reach. Inter’s current highest earning players are Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku, who earn €10 million a year, including add-ons.

Morata’s salary is not the only obstacle and the report goes on to explain that another obstacle is the fact that the 27-year-old Spaniard does not want to leave Los Rojiblancos.

The report also goes on to add that by staying at Atlei, Morata could find himself playing a lesser role with it understood that they would like to bring Edinson Cavani and lack of playing time could be detrimental to Morata’s chances of being in Spain’s squad for the European Championship’s.

Inter will only move for the former Juventus man in the event that Lautaro Martinez departs the club and if the Argentine does not leave, Inter will go after someone like Mattheus Cunha, Adolfo Gaich or someone more experienced like Olivier Giroud.

Atalanta & Fiorentina Interested In Inter Striker Sebastiano Esposito – Could Be Inserted In Chiesa Talks

Atalanta have expressed their interest to sign Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini is a huge fan of the 17-year-old sensation and the report explains that the clubs could do a deal similar to the one that sent Andrea Pinamonti to Genoa from Inter.

Should Esposito join Atalanta in a similar deal, it would mean Inter would have an option to buy him back in the future for a pre-determined amount.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Fiorentina are also interested in the Italian youth national team player and he could well be inserted into a deal for Federico Chiesa, who is a long term target of Inter’s.

This season has been Esposito’s breakthrough season at first team level and in 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal.

Spanosh Media Claim Inter Striker Lautaro Martinez Could Go Public About Desire To Join Barcelona

Lautaro Martinez wants a move to Barcelona and could soon publicly express his desire to do so according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Inter striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Blaugrana club for a considerable amount of time and although he does not want to force a move, he feels like he has to make it clear he wants to go due to Inter’s clear reluctance to sell him.

Barcelona had hoped to finalise a deal for Lautaro by the end of May but Inter scuppered their plans. Barcelona want to pay no more than €65 million plus two players whilst Inter continue to demand that the 22-year-old’s €111 million release clause is met or €90 million plus one player.

The report goes on to explain that the Argentine had a meeting with Inter manager Antonio Conte in recent weeks and told him he wants to leave but the conversation did not have the impact that the player had hoped.

Felipe Melo: “I Would’ve Liked To Play For Real Madrid But Still Managed To Play For Inter”

Former Inter midfielder Felipe Melo has admitted that he had hoped to join Inter rather than arch rivals Juventus back in the Summer of 2009 from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina.

“I would’ve liked to play for Real Madrid, but I still managed to play for Inter. When I was at Fiorentina, I remember Inter calling me,” he remarked in an interview with the online edition of Spanish news outlet AS.

“I wanted to go to Inter, not Juve. But ultimately Juve paid the clause and I went there. For that, I thank Juve very much because I got to know the Juventus world.”

The tough tackling Brazilian midfielder, who eventually got his move to Inter in 2015 from Turkish Super Lig side Galatsaray, then spoke on his exit from Inter in 2017, when he returned back to his home country to play for Palmeiras, where he remains to this day.

“They wanted to renew my contract, but I returned to Brazil because I won there when nobody knew me. I had the dream of returning and winning the championship like the new Felipe Melo, this time in the role of protagonist. I left Inter and went to Palmeiras to win and make history.”

During his 18 month stint with the Nerazzurri, Melo made 38 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored a single goal and also provided a single assist for his teammates.

36-year-old Melo’s career began with Brazilian powerhouses Flamengo back in 2001 and aside from the clubs mentioned above, he can count Gremio, Mallorca, Racing Santander and UD Almeria among his former clubs.

Rigoberto Rivas’ Agent: “He Wants To Stay At Reggina, It Depends On Inter”

Rigoberto Rivas’ agent Riccardo Pacini has admitted that his client hopes to be able to extend his stay with Reggina past the end of this season.

The Honduran national team player joined the Serie C club on a season long loan this past Summer and although he has only played semi-regularly this term, the 21-year-old wishes to remain with the club.

“Rivas’ desire is to stay in Reggio Calabria, we are looking for the right solution with Massimo Taibi to find an agreement,” Pacini remarked in an interview with Reggina’s official club broadcaster Reggina TV yesterday afternoon.

“We are happy to have won the league and happy with the project and hope he can continue here. It will depend on Inter and it is necessary to understand if a new loan could happen.”

This season Rivas, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park, which totals just over 900 minutes, Rivas has scored two goals and has provided a total of four assists for his teammates.

Rivas joined Inter at youth level back initially on loan in the Summer of 2016 and he was bought outright the following Summer. He has not played a first team game for Inter though having spent every season out on loan since joining permanently.
