Inter Captain Samir Handanovic To Extend Contract With Club To End Of June 2022

Samir Handanovic extending his contract with Inter is now a formality according to a report from Italia broadcaster Sport Mediaset which was aired a short time ago.

Spanish Media – Barcelona Must Raise €70M By End Of June Before Signing Inter’s Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona need to raise €70 million by the end of the month to balance their books according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Marca.

A sense of nervousness is creeping in at the Blaugrana club who face a race against time to get their books in order.

The Catalan side are open to selling several players to make ends meet. Philippe Coutinho could bring in a significant sum but for the time being there are no clubs interested in the Brazilian, who seemingly wants to return to the Premier League.

The report goes on to explain that Barcelona could try and raise the funds through the sales of Nelson Semedo, Arturo Vidal and Jean-Clair Todibo, all of whom have attracted interest from other clubs.

It can therefore be presumed that due to this, Barcelona will have to put any negotiations to bring players to the club on hold at least until their books are in order, including the negotiations that could potentially see them bring Lautaro Martinez to the club from Inter.

Real Madrid Rival Barcelona In Interest In Inter’s Lautaro Martinez

Real Madrid are to rival Barcelona for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Los Blancos have developed a strong interest in signing the 22-year-old striker and are in a much more healthy financial state compared to Barcelona, who have been courting the Argentine national team forward for some time now.

Italian Media Report Inter Could Cash In On Teen Sensation Sebastiano Esposito & Matias Vecino

Inter are not just evaluating potentially loaning out Sebastiano Esposito but also selling him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Parma, Fiorentina and Atalanta have all made enquiries for the highly rated young striker, who Inter could allow to leave permanently provided there is an option for them to bring him back.

The report from the Rome based news outlet also goes on to state that Matias Vecino will depart Inter in the coming months. He has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and the report explains that Inter dream of being able to add Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to their ranks and also continue to pursue a move for Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.
