Italian Media Outlines Inter’s List Of Replacements For Barcelona Target Lautaro Martinez – From Man City’s Gabriel Jesus To Man Utd’s Anthony Martial

Inter have four players in mind in addition to RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner who could come in and replace Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Lautaro continues to draw strong links to Barcelona over a Summer transfer window switch and as a result Inter are on the lookout for a potential replacement for him.

Werner, who has a €60 million release clause in his current contract, is the club’s first choice at the moment but he is not the only player who could potentially replace the 22-year-old Argentine striker.

As per the Turin based newspaper’s report, Arsenal captain and previous first choice Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains an option. The Gabonese forward has just over a year left on his deal and could therefore be acquired at a discounted price.

Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus are both potential replacements as is Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic.

Inter Expecting Final Decisions By Friday From Bayern Munich & PSG On Futures Of Ivan Perisic & Mauro Icardi

Inter are expecting responses from both Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich with regard to what their intentions are for Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic by Friday according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Icardi joined the recently crowned French champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal Paris Saint Germain obtained an option to sign him up on a permanent basis for €70 million.

The report claims that talks are already underway between the parties to study alternative solutions to paying the above amount but Paris Saint Germain intend to buy him outright in some way.

As for Croatian national team player Perisic, he joined Bayern Munich with an option to buy set at around €15 million but unlike with Icardi, there are not such positive signs and talks over him possibly joining permanently are likely to be postponed until a later date.

Italian Media Claims Inter Trying To Overtake Juventus In Race To Sign Brescia’s Sandro Tonali

Inter are in the process of trying to surpass Juventus in the race to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Both clubs are long term admirers of the recently turned 20-year-old midfielder, who reports elsewhere in the media have suggested could cost €30-35 million plus a young player from the buying club.

Tonali is widely regarded as one of the best up and coming Italian talents at the moment and looks set for an extremely bright future with him having been compared to the legendary Andrea Pirlo on numerous occasions.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to explain that there is division between manager Antonio Conte and club management with regard to Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Conte is desperate to be reunited with the Chilean national team player but Inter management have their doubts about him given his age and how much he would cost.

Italian Media Claims Chelsea Place Inter Target Emerson Palmieri On The Transfer List

Emerson Palmieri is one of four players who have been placed on the transfer list by Chelsea ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Chelsea are looking to raise a sum of €100 million to help fund moves for their transfer targets and believe that the sales of Emerson, Michy Batshuayi, Ross Barkley and Kurt Zouma could help them raise such funds.

This news will come as a boost to Inter who have been courting Emerson for some time as they look to strengthen at full back.

The report from the Turin based newspaper does however go on to add that Chelsea are hoping to add two Inter transfer targets to their ranks with the money raised.

The Premier League side would like to sign Dries Mertens on a free transfer and have also set their sights on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Barcelona Ignite Interest In RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner As No Guarantee They’ll Sign Inter’s Lautaro Martinez

Lautaro Martinez wants a transfer to Barcelona but there is no guarantee that Barcelona will be able to pull a move off because of this according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Blaugrana club have been courting Lautaro for some time and have seemingly convinced the player to join by offering him a bumper €10 million a year contract with the club, a sum of money which is a number of times more than he is presently earning at Inter.

Due to there being no guarantees that they will land him, Barcelona management are taking the upmost precautions and have therefore identified RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner as someone they could move for if unable to get a move for Lautaro done.

Werner is a target of both Inter and Liverpool and has a variable release clause between €50-60 million within his contract. If RB Leipzig win the Bundesliga, it will be the latter figure, if they do not, it will be the former.

Inter Tell Barcelona €90M + A Player Or The Full €111M If They Want Lautaro Martinez

Inter have rejected an €80 million offer from Barcelona for Lautaro Martinez and have reiterated their demands to the Blaugrana club according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barcelona have shown an extremely keen interest in landing Lautaro for some time but their latest offer has still fallen short of what Inter want.

As per the report, Inter have told Barcelona to either pay his €111 million release clause or make a €90 million offer with a player attached to it, if they wish to sign the highly rated 22-year-old striker.

Full backs Nelson Semedo and Emerson Royal continue to be potential candidates who could be included in the deal for the Argentine national team forward, who has been offered a €10 million a year deal by the reigning Spanish champions.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided a total of four assists for his teammates.

Inter & Liverpool To Go Head To Head Over €60M Rated RB Leipzig Striker Timo Werner

Inter and Liverpool are to battle it out for the signature of RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Due to each club’s status and ambitions, Werner is open to a move to either side and the report claims that Inter are at an advantage over Liverpool.

Inter intend to sign Werner should Lautaro Martinez leave the club and he will therefore come in as a starter whilst that would not be the case at Liverpool, who are simply looking to complete their already strong attack by signing him.

Moreover, Liverpool are reluctant about spending €50-60 million on a player given the current crisis situation and will not do so unless sales are made.

This season the 24-year-old German national team player has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 27 goals and provided 12 assists for his teammates.

Barcelona To Swap Semedo With Man City’s Joao Cancelo Before Offering Him + Cash To Inter For Lautaro Martinez

Inter look set to acquire Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo as part of a complex deal that will send Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona and Nelson Semedo to Barcelona according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Manchester City and Barcelona are to swap the two Portuguese full backs and Barcelona will then send Cancelo plus cash to Inter in exchange for Lautaro.

As per the report, Cancelo arriving at the club is the key to satisfying Inter manager Antonio Conte, who has been looking around for full back reinforcements ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Cancelo is of course no stranger to Inter having spent the 2017/18 season out on loan at the club. Inter could have signed him permanently for €40 million but opted against it.

Cancelo then joined Inter’s arch rivals Juventus for a season and joined City this past Summer as part of a swap deal that sent Danilo in the opposite direction.
