MILAN – Udinese will leave Milan with three points in the bag, having battled back to beat Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight.
Mauro Icardi put the Nerazzurri ahead just before half-time, collecting an inch-perfect pass from Fredy Guarin to slot past Karnezis in the Udinese goal. Inter looked in total control of the match at the break, but there was to be a very different story in the second half.
First Bruno Fernandes fired home from outside the area, then on 71 minutes Udinese took the lead through Thereau. The French striker found himself one-on-one with Handanovic, and made no mistake in sidestepping the Inter goalkeeper to slot home.
Inter did what they could to force a way back into the game, but there was to be no reprieve.
