APPIANO GENTILE – The Nerazzurri carried out their final training session at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this morning as they prepare to head south to the capital for tomorrow’s crunch Serie A encounter with Lazio.

Roberto Mancini pushed his squad to work at a high intensity today and was noticeably pleased with their efforts. There were three bouts of fitness exercises interspersed with possession drills and a training match to finish.

Vice president Javier Zanetti was at pitchside to observe this morning’s session in the company of Ruben Sosa.
