MILAN – Lukas Podolski was a second-half substitute as Germany demolished Gibraltar 7-0 in a Euro 2016 qualifier this evening.

Andre Schurrle notched a hat-trick for the Germans, with further goals by Max Kruse, Ilkay Gundogan (2) and Karim Bellarabi.

Podolski replaced Patrick Herrmann in the 56th minute.
