Inter Forever v Bayern All Stars, three years on

MILAN – It all began three years ago, on 25 May 2012. That was the day when an idea put forward by Giacinto Facchetti and carried through by Francesco Toldo turned from concept to reality. It was the day when Inter Forever made their debut, against Bayern All Stars.

Alessandro Altobelli rose to head Inter in front, then Michael Tarnat pegged the Germans level. It ended 1-1 at the Stadio Comunale in Arco, Trentino.

Three years on, it’s time for a rematch. This time the setting is Munich’s Allianz Arena. The date, Saturday 11 July. An unmissable opportunity for fans of both clubs – and sports lovers in general – to take a stroll down football’s memory lane.
