PONTE A TRESSA – The Giovanissimi Nazionali saw their Final Eight campaign get off to a disappointing start as they were beaten 2-1 by Novara at the Stadio Morandi. Stefano Bellinzaghi’s men fell behind to a Santoro goal on 14 minutes, while Alfarone doubled Novara’s lead 28 minutes later.

The Nerazzurri pulled one back through Gnoukouri in the 59th minute, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
