APPIANO GENTILE – The Nerazzurri trained this morning, a day on from their trip to Palermo in the league. As ever, following a match, the squad was split into two groups.

Those who featured for most of last night’s game had a recovery session, predominantly in the gym, with a spot of light running on the field. The rest of the players began with a lengthy session on tactics, before work on a small pitch. First it was possession, before the usual high-tempo training game.
