Montoya : “A good test, we’re working hard”
DOHA – Selected at right-back in the starting XI, Martin Montoya put in a good showing against PSG yesterday.

“It was a tough match, but it was useful to get back into the swing of things for the league.

“I feel in good shape – I’ve played four games at a decent level and I’m pleased.

The Spanish defender had a great chance in front of goal in the opening 45: “Unfortunately I’m a defender and not a forward. If the ball had fallen to one of our strikers, we would have definitely scored.”

Inter will remain in Doha until 2 January, when they will come back to Italy to press on with preparations ahead of the Serie A return against Empoli.

“We’re working hard with 6 January in mind when the season starts up again.”
