MILAN – With the Milan Derby just three days away, we thought what better time than the present to start celebrating #ThrowbackThursday?

We begin by turning back the clock to the last Derby della Madonnina played in January: AC Milan v Inter on 15 January 2012.

Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Nagatomo; Zanetti, Thiago Motta, Cambiasso, Alvarez; Milito, Pazzini. That was the line-up named by Claudio Ranieri on the day.

And the man who settled it? None other than Diego Milito! El Principe grabbed the only goal in the 56th minute with a well-taken angled finish, his eighth of the season.
