Inter into Mundialito Round of 32
VILA REAL DE SANTO ANTONIO – Inter Esordienti are into the Mundialito “Gold” phase after finishing second in their group to book a Round of 32 berth.

Having beaten Lusitano de Evora-os Geraldinhos and Puertorrealena 8-0 and 10-1 respectively in their first two games at the competition in Portugal, the young Nerazzurri responded to a 4-2 loss in their third match against an Angolan XI with an eye-watering 15-0 defeat of Verdeluz in their final group-stage game.

Di Giuliomaria laid a pretty watertight claim to the match ball with a seven-goal haul, while braces from Curatolo and Bonavita plus goals from Goffi, Perin, Hrom and Pelamatti completed a thoroughly convincing win for Sacco’s youngsters.

Inter will now face Malaga in the Round of 32 on Thursday at 10:00 local time. The last-16 matches will also take place tomorrow.
