Inter finish second at Sassi Memorial
ARANELLO – Inter Berretti have been made to settle for the runners-up spot at the Claudio Sassi Memorial tournament as they lost the Modena on penalties in the final on Monday.

The match itself was an even affair with few clear-cut chances on goal, finishing in a 0-0 draw. In the subsequent penalty shootout, only Donnarumma could find the back of the net for Salvatore Cerrone’s young side, allowing Modena to claim a 3-1 shootout win and lift the cup.

It wasn’t all bad news for the Nerazzurri, however, as midfielder Xian Emmers was named best player at the tournament.
