Nagatomo’s Japan thrash Syria 5-0
MILAN – There were more smiles for Yuto Nagatomo’s Japan side on Tuesday as they crushed Syria 5-0 at Saitama Stadium to strengthen their grip on first place in their World Cup 2018 qualifying group. Nagatomo was picked in the starting line-up by Vahid Halilhodzic and remained on the pitch for the full 90 minutes.
