Matthaus: “Tomorrow we will win”
Former Inter player Lothar Matthaus was interviewed by Inter.it about the coach, the team and the dream of Champions League. The German Legend was very optimistic for the rest of the season: “Pioli is doing a very good job, Inter play a better football compared to the beginning of the season and now points are coming. If we win tomorrow, we reduce the ranking gap. Tomorrow we’ll win 3-1, but I’m too old to go to the field. During the Scudetto of records season the fans helped us very much, they were very important. We can qualify for the Champions League, it’s still possible, Inter are among 5-6 candidates. Juventus are too far, Napoli have qualities, then there’s Roma. But the other squads are not better than Inter”.
