Lautaro Martinez is not entirely convinced by the prospect of potentially joining reigning Premier League champions Manchester City according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.

The 22-year-old has been linked with the Citizens in recent weeks with it understood that Pep Guardiola is a big fan of him but the Argentine national team striker is not so keen on a move.

First of all the report claims that the player does not feel that the Premier League is the best fit for him and his play style and secondly the fact he would have to miss out on the Champions League for two seasons is putting him off as well.

Manchester City aside, Barcelona have been very strongly linked with making a move for the highly rated forward, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.

Inter owned Mauro Icardi is one of several strikers on Atletico Madrid’s radar as they eye reinforcements for their attacking department according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The 27-year-old is currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain who have an option to buy him on a permanent basis for a sum of €70 million.

If PSG do not take up the option to sign him, Atletico Madrid could well move for him to bolster their attack but there are three other players that they are also considering as possible options.

The report goes on to state that Icardi’s current PSG teammate Edinson Cavani is one of them with his contract in the French capital due to expire at the end of this season. Rangers and Colombia national team player Alfredo Morelos is another player being considered by the Rojiblancos as is Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik.

Inter manager Antonio Conte would like Torino’s Armando Izzo brought in if Diego Godin is to depart the club in the coming months according to a report from Italian news outlet torinogranata.it.

Godin has struggled in his first season with Inter following his arrival on a free transfer following the expiration of his deal with Atletico Madrid and it has led to suggestions in the media that he could be moved on in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Reports in the media have linked the experienced Uruguayan centre back with both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United recently.

Whilst it remains to be seen what kind of money Inter could get for Godin, any money raised through his sale would undoubtedly go toward the signing of Izzo, who Torino, as per the report, rate at somewhere between €15-20 million.

This season Izzo has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and helped Torino keep seven clean sheets.

Inter central midfielder Stefano Sensi has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to share that he is missing football with his followers.

The 24-year-old joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo and Inter have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for €25 million which they are reportedly going to take up.

This season he has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists.

“How much I miss you,” he posted.

Inter wing back Antonio Candreva has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to wish his 509,000 followers a happy Easter.

The 33-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2016 as one of then new owners Suning’s first purchases and he has went on to make a total of 137 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he has scored 15 goals and provided 28 assists.

This season he has made 26 appearances to date, in which he has netted four goals and tallied six assists.

Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to wish young centre back Alessandro Bastoni a happy birthday as he celebrates his 21st birthday.

The Italian youth national team defender joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 and spent the first two seasons of his Inter contract out on loan with Atalanta and Parma respectively.

He has had his breakthrough season at Inter this term with him having made 17 appearances, in which he has scored a single goal.
