Inter Could Sign Locatelli From Sassuolo If They Don’t Buy Sensi

Inter have doubts over whether to take up their option to buy on loan midfielder Stefano Sensi according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Sensi joined Inter this past Summer on a season long loan with an option to buy set at €20 million and based off of his first few performances it appeared that Inter would certainly take up the option but Sensi has struggled with injuries for a few months now and this has created doubts in the mind of the Nerazzurri management.

The report goes on to state that if Inter decide against taking up the option they might end up buying another Sassuolo player instead as the relations between the clubs are very good and Inter know that Sassuolo are relying on receiving the €20 million from them.

If Inter don’t take up the option, Inter and Sassuolo could agree a deal over Manuel Locatelli, who is also valued at €20 million.

The report goes on to state that Inter have had scouts watch Locatelli on a number of occasions and that Juventus are also keen on signing him too.

Inter Think Having Foreign Players Return To Milan Next Week Is Pointless

Inter are unlikely to order foreign players to return home for the beginning of April given the current situation according to a report in today’s print edition of Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Inter granted several players (Marcelo Brozovic, Samir Handanovic, Romelu Lukaku, Diego Godin, Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young and Victor Moses) permission to return to their native homelands to be with their families at this difficult time earlier on this week and think the idea of having the players return to Milan in about a week’s time would be pointless.

Sporting activity is on hold across Italy until at least April 3 but it looks highly unlikely that there will be any sorts of sporting activity carried out close to that date given the country still remains in lock down in an attempt to contain and stop the spread of Coronavirus.

As things stand, it remains a complete mystery as to whether or not the season will even resume.

Perisic Could Help Inter Sign Tolisso From Bayern Munich

Ivan Perisic could help Inter in acquiring Corentin Tolisso from Bayern Munich in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Perisic is currently out on loan at the reigning German champions who have an option to buy him for a believed €20 million whilst it is understood that Inter have developed an interest in signing Tolisso.

Bayern Munich, as per reports, are seeking a discount on Perisic but it could be the case that Inter agree to send Perisic and cash to the German in exchange for Tolisso who Bayern Munich are seemingly willing to sell with him having fallen out of favour.

Perisic has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this season for the Bavarians, in which he has scored five goals and provided eight assists.

Tolisso on the other hand has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date and he has scored three goals and tallied five assists.

Italian Report Claims Inter Could Send Nainggolan To Cagliari Permanently Instead Of Paying Second Instalment Of Barella Deal

Inter could agree to let Radja Nainggolan stay at Cagliari on a permanent basis and use him as the payment they are due Cagliari for Nicolo Barella according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Barella joined Inter this past Summer in a €50 million deal which was to be paid in two instalments of €25 million whilst Nainggolan joined Cagliari on a season long dry loan.

Cagliari are understood to want to keep a hold of Nainggolan but it has been reported that they could struggle to meet Inter’s demands for him as well as meet his salary demands.

However if they agree to take Nainggolan instead of the €25 million Inter are due them then they will not need to worry about paying any transfer fee but just his wages.

Whilst back in Sardinia, Nainggolan has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and provided six assists.

Spurs & Manchester United Interested In Inter Defender Godin

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are both keen on signing Inter centre back Diego Godin according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Premier League clubs are understood to be looking to reinforce their defences in the upcoming Summer transfer window and have identified Godin as a player who could do that with thanks to his great experience at top levels and his leadership qualities.

Godin only joined Inter this past Summer on a free transfer after his deal with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid expired but has really struggled to adapt to his new surroundings and has found himself caught out on a number of occasions over the course of the season.

The 34-year-old is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season but it would appear unlikely that he will see that through.

This season he has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has contributed a single assist.

Inter Seeking Discount From Chelsea To Sign Victor Moses Permanently

Inter will seek a discount from Chelsea for Victor Moses according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The Nigerian national team player joined Inter in the recent January transfer window in a loan deal until the remainder of the season with Inter also obtaining an option to buy set at €12 million as part of the deal.

Conte sees Moses as part of his plans, something Chelsea definitely do not and this is why Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will therefore ask for a reduction to the option to buy.

Moses currently earns €5 million per season at the Premier League club and the report goes on to state that Marotta will ask him to reduce his salary.

The report goes on to state that the chances of Alexis Sanchez staying at Inter are much less and he is almost certain to return to Manchester United.

Many Serie A Clubs Pessimistic About Chances Of 19/20 Season Resuming

A number of Serie A club are pessimistic about the chances of the 2019/20 season resuming at any stage according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

World football’s governing body FIFA, European football’s governing body UEFA and several leagues, including Serie A, met yesterday to hold talks over the possibility of the season being resumed in the coming months.

At the meeting FIFA and UEFA reiterated that domestic competitions will be given priority over continental competitions and also told leagues that they have the month of July too to finish their seasons if so required.

However, some Serie A clubs are not confident in the slightest about the season resuming given the severity of the current situation in the country.

Whilst many are not confident, reports elsewhere in the past few days and weeks have stated there are clubs who want the season resumed as soon as possible and played to conclusion.

Italian Report Highlights That If PSG Sign Icardi Almost All Of It Would Be A Capital Gain For Inter

Inter are one of a number of clubs across the world with players out on loan at other clubs who have options to buy the loan players permanently and Inter are carefully watching the developing situation relating to Coronavirus as it could have an impact according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Joao Mario, Mauro Icardi, Dalbert, Ivan Perisic and Valentino Lazaro are with Lokomotiv Moscow, Paris Saint Germain, Fiorentina, Bayern Munich and Newcastle United respectively and Inter could make a considerable amount of cash if the clubs take up their options to sign the players permanently.

Due to the Coronavirus situation, there are concerns that club’s spending could be kept to a minimum due to the financial impact that the situation is likely to cause and this could obviously affect the chances of taking up options to buy loan players.

When it comes to Icardi, PSG can sign him for €70 million, almost all of which would be a capital gain for the Nerazzurri given Icardi has a value of just €1.8 million against Inter’s books.

However, it is understood that PSG are unsure on signing the 27-year-old Argentine permanently despite the fact he has 20 goals in 31 games for them this term and Icardi himself is not convinced by the idea of staying in the French capital either.

Godin Could Leave Inter Whilst Vertonghen & Kumbulla Could Come In

Diego Godin could leave Inter at the end of this season with two Premier League clubs interested in signing him according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing the veteran Uruguayan national team centre back who has struggled to live up to expectations since his arrival at Inter on a free transfer this past Summer.

Godin leaving may not be the only change made to Inter’s defence in the coming month with the report going on to state that Inter are targeting defensive reinforcements.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen is one of the Nerazzurri’s targets and the experienced Belgian national team centre back could be acquired on a free transfer.

Moreover, Inter have their eyes set on young Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla and could offer Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo to the Gialloblu club as part of a deal for Kumbulla.
