Gabriel Brazao: “I Dream Of Playing For Inter At San Siro”

In an interview with Passione Inter, young Inter goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao has spoken on a range of topics and firstly spoke on how everything has gone for him during his loan spell with Spanish second division side Albacete.

“It has been a great experience here at Albacete, I am happy with the opportunities that were given to me to be able to demonstrate my full potential. It has made me very happy to be able to show off,” the Brazilian youth national team player who joined the club this past Summer began the interview.

Next he was asked what Inter means to him and shared his dream of playing for Inter at San Siro one day.

“Inter mean a lot to me. I’ve always been a fan of the club and I’m very happy to be able to represent this great club.

“I have always had everyone’s support. They always talk to me and ask me how things are going here in Spain ”.

“As I said before, since I was a child I have been an Inter fan. I dream of going onto the pitch San Siro in the Inter shirt. I will work to make this dream come true.”

Next he discussed which goalkeepers he looks up to and tries to learn from.

“There are many great goalkeepers that I try to follow. Alisson, Ederson and Handanovic are some of them. I try to see their games, understand how they position themselves, I try to steal their secrets.”

Brazao then commented on the recent praise he received from compatriot and legendary former Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

“I was very happy to read his words, Julio is an exceptional person. He has a very long history with the club and being praised by a player with his resume has made me very happy.”

Next he spoke on current Inter number on goalkeeper and club captain Samir Handanovic.

“Handanovic is a great goalkeeper, he has had many great seasons. I’m a fan of his way of playing and I try to take inspiration from him too.”

He then revealed that he started his footballing career at the opposite end of the pitch as a striker.

“At the beginning of my career I was a striker but I’ve always had a passion for the goalkeeper role and as time went by I went on to become a goalkeeper and I am very happy with the choice I have made.”

He concluded by speaking about his penalty saving record.

“I’ve always worked on trying to save penalties but I also work on many other aspects f my game. It is not just the fact of blocking penalties that defines me as a goalkeeper. I really like big matches, the decisive ones. I feel a different energy.”

Inter Owned Icardi Wants Juventus Move This Summer

Inter owned Mauro Icardi wants to join Juventus in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet El Gol Digital.

The 27-year-old Argentine striker is currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain who have an option to sign him on a permanent basis for a sum of €70 million but the report claims his future will not be in the French capital.

Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date for PSG this term in which he has scored 20 goals and provided four assists for his teammates at the Parc des Princes club.

Inter Could Make Another Move To Sign Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi In The Future

Inter could go back in for Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi in the coming months according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Florenzi is currently out on loan at La Liga side Valencia but has struggled to live up to expectations and is likely going to have to make a decision on his Roma future once his loan deal expires.

Florenzi fell out of favour under Paulo Fonseca in the first half of the season and left for Valencia in January so he could play regularly with a view to making it into Italy’s EURO 2020 squad – a tournament that has now been moved to next Summer due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Inter have shown an interest in him in each of the past two transfer windows with manager Antonio Conte a big fan of him but the report warns that the poor relations between Inter and Roma could make reaching a deal difficult.

Inter aside, Fiorentina are also interested in signing him as are Premier League side Everton.

Players Being Included Could Make Difference In Barcelona Reaching Deal With Inter For Lautaro Martinez

The inclusion of players could make the difference in a deal being reached between Barcelona and Inter over Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.

Due to the currently unprecedented situation, the report warns that clubs will have to get creative with transfer deals to get deals done due to the financial losses many are and will make over this period of inactivity.

Lautaro is seemingly Barcelona’s number one transfer target but they are reluctant to pay his €111 million release clause and would far prefer to do a player(s) plus cash deal for the highly rated 22-year-old, who has also drawn links to Real Madrid.

Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal’s name has been mentioned a lot as a potential makeweight in any deal whilst reports have also stated that Inter have their eyes on several Barcelona players such as Jean-Clair Todibo, Carles Alena, Nelson Semedo and Arthur.
