Inter will sell one of Matias Vecino or Roberto Gagliardini in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Everton showed a keen interest in signing Uruguayan national team midfielder Vecino in the most recent January transfer window and the report claims that the Premier League outfit continue to have an interest in signing him.

As for Gagliardini, Torino have sparked an interest in signing him and some reports elsewhere in the media have suggested that Inter and Torino could do a swap deal involving Gagliardini and centre back Armando Izzo.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that one of the two will be sold regardless of what happens with Radja Nainggolan.

The Belgian is currently out on loan at Cagliari but it is unlikely that he will be staying there. A recent report has even suggested he may be given another chance.

Inter would be willing to offer Valentino Lazaro to RB Leipzig as part of a deal for Timo Werner according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter have identified Werner as a player they could bring in to replace Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be linked with a possible move away to Spanish powerhouses Barcelona.

Werner has a €60 million release clause in his current contract with the Bundesliga club but Inter do not wish to pay this and would instead prefer to sit down and negotiate a deal at a lesser price.

As per this report, Inter would be willing to offer a cash sum plus Valentino Lazaro in exchange for 24-year-old Werner, who has been one of the most prolific strikers in European football for a few seasons now.

Lazaro is currently out on loan at Premier League side Newcastle United and although they have an option to buy him the report claims that it is unlikely that they will.

RB Leipzig showed an interest in signing the Austrian back in the January transfer window and the player himself even recently admitted to holding talks with them.

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic’s agent Miroslav Bicanic is pushing for Inter to give his client a new and improved contract according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Brozovic is under contract with the club for a further two seasons after this one and has a €60 million release clause as part of his current deal.

In recent weeks the Croatian national team player has drawn links with a number of other clubs, namely Champions League holders Liverpool.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that Bicancic would like to see his client given a salary raise from €3.5 million to €4.5 million and a contract extension until 2023.

Reports elsewhere in the media have suggested that as part of a new deal Inter will look to remove the release clause in the 27-year-old’s current deal.

This season Brozovic has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored three goals and provided five assists for his teammates.

Chelsea are currently leading the race to sign Napoli striker Dries Mertens according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The 32-year-old Belgian national team attacker’s current deal with Napoli is due to expire at the end of this season and a number of clubs have therefore sparked an interest in signing him on a free transfer in the Summer.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been in direct contact with Mertens and has shared his and Chelsea’s plans, something which the report claims has excited the former PSV Eindhoven player.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to explain that Chelsea have a clear advantage over Inter, Roma, AS Monaco and Newcastle United, all of whom have also shown an interest in signing him.

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner’s representatives are in contact with several top European clubs regarding their client according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

As per the report from the Turin based news outlet, his representatives are in contact with Inter, Juventus, Barcelona and Liverpool regarding a possible Summer transfer window move.

The German national team forward, who has been one of Europe’s most prolific goalscorers in recent seasons, has a €60 million release clause in his current deal with RB Leipzig, who he joined back in the Summer of 2016 from fellow German club Stuttgart.

This season Werner, who has a contract with RB Leipzig until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made a total of 36 appearances across all competitions to date.

In just over 2800 minutes on the field, the 24-year-old forward has netted a highly impressive 27 goals and has also provided a total of 12 assists for his teammates.

Manchester United want at least €100 million for midfielder Paul Pogba according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The French national team midfielder has drawn links to several clubs in recent weeks with Juventus, Real Madrid, Inter and Paris Saint Germain all having been linked with him.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that the Premier League club would be open to doing a swap deal but would only accept top players as part of such a deal. It also goes on to add that his agent, Mino Raiola, wants his client to be paid at leat €12-13 million a year.

The French national team midfielder, who joined Manchester United back in 2016 from Juventus, has barely played this season as a result of a serious injury. He has made just eight appearances across all competitions, in which he has tallied two assists.

Juventus only want to do a straight up swap deal with Fiorentina for Federico Chiesa in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Sky Sport Italia.

The report does however state that Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso is not willing to entertain such a deal and Inter could now take advantage in the race to sign the highly rated 22-year-old Italian national team winger.

Both Inter and Juventus are long term admirers of Chiesa and it remains to be seen if he will finally leave La Viola this season having been linked with a move away from the club in almost every transfer window in recent seasons.

This season Chiesa, who has a contract with the Florence based club until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has identified four full backs that the club could potentially make a move for in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barcelona’s Nelson Semedo is a player on Marotta’s radar although the report warns that his €35 million price tag is too high for Inter at the moment. Marotta also has an eye on the Portuguese national team defender’s Barcelona teammate Junior Firpo, who will cost much less than that.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that the former Juventus director is also keen on two Emerson’s. Emerson of Real Betis and Emerson Palmieri of Premier League side Chelsea.

Real Betis’ Emerson has a price tag of between €15-20 million whilst Chelsea’s Emerson, who is understood to be Inter manager Antonio Conte’s preference, is valued at around the €30 million mark.

Inter have told Barcelona that they will have to cough up at least €90 million in a player(s) plus cash deal for Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barcelona were hopeful of offering some players plus a sum of €50 million but the Nerazzurri club have made it clear to the Blaugrana that it will not be enough and if anything less than €90 million is offered, Inter will not even sit down at at table to negotiate.

In the event that Lautaro does go on to leave the Nerazzurri, Inter management have identified RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner as his heir.

The prolific German forward has a €60 million release clause in his current contract but neither Inter nor other interest club Liverpool are thinking about paying it and they will instead look to negotiate a deal with RB Leipzig.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to add that Inter will add one of Edinson Cavani or Dries Mertens to further bolster the attack.

Both players current contracts at their respective employers are due to expire at the end of the season and they could therefore be acquired on a free transfer.

It is highly unlikely that Ivan Perisic will return to Inter this Summer with Bayern Munich having assured his representatives that they will keep a hold of him according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Perisic is currently out on loan at the German Bundesliga club from Inter and the Bavaria based club have an option to sign him up on a permanent basis for a sum of €20 million.

Bayern Munich have been very happy with what the Croatian national team winger has offered whilst on loan with them and Perisic is also happy being in Munich and would happily stay with the club past the end of this season.

Reports have suggested that Bayern Munich could seek a slight discount on him due to all that is going on in the world and this report goes on to add that even if there is a discount given, Inter will still make a decent capital gain given he has a value of less than €3 million against the club’s books.
