Yaya Toure a transfer target for Inter Milan, says boss Roberto Mancini

Manchester City midfielder Fernando says the absence of teammate Yaya Toure, who is away for the Africa Cup of Nations, is affecting the club.

Manchester City pair Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony could be available for the club's Premier League match with Chelsea at the weekend, if Ivory Coast lose to Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.

ESPN FC's Steve Nicol and Craig Burley both are in agreement with Yaya Toure's importance to Manchester City in the middle of the park.

Roberto Mancini has said he wants to sign Yaya Toure to help turn Inter Milan into a Scudetto-winning side.
Mancini took the Ivorian to Manchester City in 2010 and hopes to be reunited with him as he looks to transform Inter — who are 10th in Serie A, 23 points behind leaders Juventus — into a team capable of winning the title.
