Inter head coach Roberto Mancini says an abundance of errors made it a near impossible task for his side to advance to the Europa League quarter-finals.

As Inter travelled back overnight from Genoa on Sunday, manager Roberto Mancini had much to think about in those two hours. On Monday morning, the team and the coach were up early and training in bright sunshine at the training ground in Appiano Gentile. Straight after Inter's 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria the world would have looked as bleak as the night, but in the sunny spring morning perhaps things are not so bad.
