Inter Milan's Argentine striker, Mauro Icardi, finished the season as joint-Capocannoniere (top scorer) with Luca Toni of Hellas Verona. The 22-year-old by his own admission was both surprised and proud of his achievement and gave fans of the Nerazzurri something to smile about on the final day. Inter missed out on the Europa League despite managing to beat Empoli in a crazy game at San Siro on Sunday night.
