Martin Skrtel has turned down the chance to sign for Inter Milan and has instead opted to remain at Liverpool, according to his agent, amid reports that he has already agreed a new three-year deal.
Skrtel's existing deal expires next summer and earlier this month he described a contract offer from the club as "unacceptable."
However, the centre-back looks set to remain at Anfield after his agent, Karol Csonto, confirmed he is to commit to Liverpool.
