Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has defended his choice to drop star striker Mauro Icardi in the Nerazzurri's narrow 1-0 victory over Genoa on Saturday.
The former Manchester CIty manager made changes to his starting XI that were beaten at Napoli midweek, most notably dropping Icardi and Ivan Perisic for Rodrigo Palacio and Jonathan Biabiany.
