Hellas Verona goalkeeper Marco Silvestri discussed Inter’s interest in him in an interview with Italian journalist Nicolò Schira on Instagram today. His words were noted by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

“We players, even if we don’t give ourselves so much thought, we read and watch everything, it’s useless to deny it, it’s very nice to be approached by a great club. Now it’s too early to talk about it. Now there’s Verona and that’s all I think about.”

The 29-year-old Italian shot stopper then spoke about other great goalkeepers in Serie A.

“I really like Musso, he will become a great goalkeeper. Then I’d say Sczeszny and Handanovic who never make mistakes. They’re always on the mark, maybe they only receive 2-3 shots per game but they’re always there. They don’t blow your mind, but their hands always come out when it’s necessary to make a save.”

Inter are searching for a future replacement for 35-year-old club captain Samir Handanovic, who only has one more year left on his contract. The Nerazzurri are considering many goalkeepers across the country, including Udinese’s Juan Musso, and Silvestri, although they made decide to recall Romanian shot stopper Ionut Radu, who is currently on loan with Parma.

The 29-year-old, who is contracted to the Gialloblu until 2021, has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2370 minutes. In that time, he has conceded 28 goals and kept nine clean sheets, being a part of one of the best defenses in the league.

Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali’s agent Beppe Bozzo discussed the future of the Italian midfielder and Inter target in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today.

“How can you talk about the market now? I have an agency that also makes international transfers. Meetings in Munich, London, Madrid. What’s the point?”

Bozzo then discussed how the ongoing Coronavirus emergency has put a stop to any talks about Tonali.

“How can you imagine a transfer abroad now? You don’t know what happens in France, Spain, England. There’s nothing we can do about it. Yes, you’re talking, the certificates of esteem are there as before, but nothing concrete.”

Inter are one of many clubs interested in signing the 19-year-old Italian, who has impressed massively in his first season in the topflight. Tonali, who is contracted to Brescia until 2021, has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Lombard side, for a total of 2130 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided five assists, impressing with his pin point accurate passing and attacking vision.

The player has drawn comparisons with former Italy star Andrea Pirlo, with both of the duo playing at Brescia early in their careers and having a similar style of playing accurate, long range passes.

Inter owned midfielder Joao Mario, who is currently on loan with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, discussed his experiences with the Nerazzurri and his Portugal teammate Joao Felix in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

The 27-year-old Portuguese international midfielder began by discussing his experience at Inter.

“At Inter I didn’t feel weighted down by the high amount invested in me as the club, both as a club and as a team, had other problems to think about.”

The former Sporting man then discussed how compatriot Joao Felix has been doing at Atletico Madrid.

“Atletico are one of those teams that, seen from the outside, work very well, as if they were an Italian team playing in Spain. The change from an offensive game like Benfica to them has made itself felt, even more so considering the pressure for the price paid.

“It’s not easy in terms of adaptation, but it doesn’t have to weigh in when you’re on the field. Although Felix is not guilty of the amount paid, he always ends up feeling it.”

Mario has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Lokomotiv Moscow, for a total of 1287 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided four assists. He has missed seven games due to a fractured toe.

The Portuguese midfielder is one of many players that Inter have out of loan this season. The Nerazzurri are hoping to cash in on Mario, as well as the others like Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, in order to fund their summer transfer operations.

The Russian side are considering making the move for Mario permanent but are attempting to negotiate for a lower price.

Inter full back Kwadwo Asamoah is set to leave Milan in the summer with interest from Turkey, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Ghanaian full back, whose contract expires with the Nerazzurri in 2021, has fallen out of favor in the Nerazzurri’s hierarchy and the club are worried about his knee injury, which has forced him to miss 25 games through injury this season.

The player declined an offer from German side Hoffenheim, but Turkish side Fenerbahce are now keen to sign the player.

Asamoah has made 11 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 899 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and was used regularly before suffering the knee injury. The arrival of English full back Ashley Young in January further confirmed the players isolated position in the squad.

Torino are considering signing Inter owned goalkeeper Ionut Radu in the summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Granata are keen to provide starting shot stopper Salvatore Sirigu backup for next season, with the 22-year-old Radu impressing whilst on loan with Genoa earlier this season.

The Romanian, who is currently on loan with Parma, has great potential and Inter are not expected to promote the player to the first team ahead of next season, giving them an opportunity to sell the player to Torino.

Radu has made 19 appearances across all competitions for Genoa this season, for a total of 1740 minutes. In that time, he has conceded 37 goals and kept two clean sheets, unable to make up for the club’s poor performances. He joined Parma in January due to being dropped by incoming Genoa coach Davide Nicola.

AC Milan have prepared an offer for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, hoping to beat Juventus and Inter to the teenager’s signature, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
