Inter will face a lot of competition for Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are keen on the 23-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Florence based club until 2024. The player’s performances this season have made many interested in him, including Inter, Napoli and Juventus, as well as multiple clubs abroad.

Castrovilli is expected to be one of the most wanted players in the summer, the report continues. Fiorentina are hoping to keep ahold of the 23-year-old Italian, after offering him a new contract last October. The player has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2203 minutes.

In that time, he has scored three goals and provided two assists, being a strong presence in midfield with his attacking vision and calmness on the ball. He made his Italy debut under Roberto Mancini in November.
