According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pioli tried a defence with Medel and Miranda as central defenders and D’Ambrosio and Ansaldi as externals. “That said, nothing is definitive. Murillo could be the partner of Miranda since Medel might be useful in midfield, as an alternative to or together with Kondogbia. In the middle we will for sure see Gagliardini with another four players (Kondogbia, Medel, Brozovic and Joao Mario) fighting for two positions. As for the attack, everything should be clear.
