Calcio e finanza have calculated how much each goal costs sides with regard to player gross wages and use Gonzalo Higuain, Edin Dzeko, Mauro Icardi and Andrea Belotti as case studies. Higuain’s goals are worth 1.3 million while Dzeko and Icardi’s are around 500,000. Belotti’s are worth 160,000.
