Arturo Diaconale, Lazio’s head of communications spoke on Piero Ausilio refusing to comment if referees aid the Milan clubs over others on TeleRoma56: “I am pleased that Ausilio, despite the subsequent disappointment due to Inter’s defeat against Fiorentina, took the time to reply. I do not need publicity…the words were not meant to be an accusation, but only a defence of the integrity of the league and especially of Lazio and their fans, whom are both the authors of a winning season that can still gift positive results at the end . Nothing can be determined by refereeing errors which dictate the outcome of the game. I do however look forward to greeting Ausilio at the Olimpico on 21st May.”
