Karamoh’s Agent Rules Out Inter Exit

Yann Karamoh’s agent believes that despite not getting as much playtime as perhaps hoped, his client still made a valid contribution to the Nerazzurri in his debut season with the club.

“I would give him a 7/10 rating, perhaps even a 7+ for his season, even if he did not play a lot,” Damiani told FCInterNews.it.

“When he came on or started, he made a very good contribution, even in the last game in Rome, in the last half hour. He was decisive for the Nerazzurri’s victory. He’s a boy who can still improve with a coach like Luciano Spalletti who takes care of him, stands by him and believe in his qualities.

Damiani then revealed that many a club are interested in his client but ruled out the possibility of the French youngster leaving Inter anytime soon.

“There are several teams interested in him but the club is not going to deprive themselves of a guy who can still give a lot to the team.”

Damiani proceeded to welcome the idea of Karamoh playing as a second striker alongside club captain Mauro Icardi.

“I think he could safely play that role. When he was in France he was sometimes deployed as a centre forward but here he can be deployed both as a winger and a bit closer to Icardi. Where would I say is better for him? There is a coach who sees him every day and I let him decide where to play him.”
