Inter are all set to make their move for top transfer target Luka Modric once the opportunity to make the move presents itself according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

With Inter in Madrid from this afternoon ahead of a pre-season friendly with Atletico Madrid tomorrow, it can not be ruled out that Inter could in fact meet with Real Madrid at some point during their stay in the Spanish capital to discuss details of a deal for Modric.

Inter have been courting Modric for nearly a month now but Real Madrid president Florentino Perez continues to hold off meeting Modric to discuss his future in a bid to make the Croatian change his mind about wishing to leave which means Inter have been left just sitting and waiting.

“In short, everything is ready, only the opening by Florentino Perez is missing. An okay to the sale would be the definitive signal to unleash hell,” the report from the Milan based news outlet states.
