Following the arrival of youngster Xian Emmers on a season long loan from Inter, Cremonese sporting director Leonardo Rinaudo has revealed that they beat some Serie A clubs to the Belgian’s signature.

“Emmers is a very promising young man. There were Serie A teams too but Inter preferred to send him to us thinking it would be the best solution for him,” Rinaudo said in an interview with SportItalia.
