23 years ago today a fresh faced Javier Zanetti made his Inter debut in a 1-0 win over Vicenza following a transfer from Banfield.

The current Inter vice-president, who is the club’s all time record appearance holder, took to social media to celebrate the occasion.

“27th August 1995, My first game in an Inter shirt: a memory that never goes away,” Zanetti posted to his official Instagram account.
