Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello reflected on the group Inter have been drawn in for this year’s Champions League that will seem them contest with Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven.

“We have returned the club where it deserves to be, we had set ourselves this goal. It is time to start a new journey and hopefully it lasts as long as possible,” Antonello said to Inter TV.

“The Champions League is always difficult so we have to give our best. We hope that the staff and the players will do their best.

“The fans? As always they are thanked for what they did last year, our desire is to give them a lot of joy and emotions this year too. San Siro is a very nice stadium, it will host great matches. I do not think we should underestimate anyone because they are all strong teams with great players in the group. We will have to give our best to be able to aspire to pass this stage. Our goal? The most important thing is to honour this shirt.”
